About this space
An exceptional cool place! Exposed barnwood with modern interior kitchen and full bath. Completed in 2021. Just a 5 min walk to beach. Lake MI view. Sunsets from patio. Hot tub. Outside private areas. An marque stay that you will cherish and plan to return.

Loft queen bed. Sofa sleeper below. Gigantic Japanese maple view from deck Fenced area for lounging on E side and hot tub under the stars. Outdoor shower. Gas firepit and heated patio mats to melt winter snow.

The space
Tiny House well thought out. On demand hot water heater, Toto in-wall toilet, washer/dryer. Mini split heat and AC. Full sized retro refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. Hot plate and toaster oven.

This is an Accessory Dwelling unit located on the back of property. House in front is also an Airbnb.
Guest access
Tiny Barn is in back yard of property and has 2 private fenced in patio areas. Access via pathway from Tiny Barn driveway.
Other things to note
Front house (The 9's) on property is a separate 3 bedroom rental that has a view of Tiny Barn from screened in porch, yet blocked by bushes. Access to Tiny Barn is along west side of property pathway with a seperate parking drive.

Anniversary Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed this unique property and can’t wait to visit again. The host provided a listing of things to do, favorites restaurants, shopping, etc. All and all excellent experience!

Wonderful spot

Wonderful spot. Relaxing hot tub with great view of the stars at night. Short walk to the beach. Water views and sunny balcony a great place to have morning coffee. Highly recommend. We would gladly stay here again!

Best Vaca Ever

Rob was super nice and even gave us complimentary coffee (which slapped). The place was gorgeous, clean, literally everything I could've ever wanted. The location was perfect, too. Very pricey but so worth it

Perfection.

We fell in love with the Tiny barn. Everything from the location to the accommodations and privacy were absolutely perfect. Walking to the beach for sunset, relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying a drink by the fire pit was incredible. The Tiny barn had everything we needed! We could not have asked for a better weekend away, THANK YOU!

Cutest teeny house ever

There isn't anything that hasn't been thought of in this adorable teeny house. We loved noticing all the details that made this place so much larger than we needed. The patio and outside areas are so inviting and it's just a stone's throw from incredible walks along Lake Michigan. We'll stay here again!!! Thanks so much for a great place!!

Amazing Tiny Barn

The tiny barn has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay in Douglas! My boyfriend and I were blown away with how nice the outdoor space was too. Unfortunately we were only there for one night so we didn't get to enjoy it all as much but plan to go back! The beach is so close and offers gorgeous sunsets! We brought our bikes and biked to dinner in Saugatuck. When we got back from watching the sunset there were a bunch of deer on the back of the property! Overall an amazing stay!

Tiny Barn delivers BIG

We have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at the Tiny Barn in beautiful Douglas, MI. The Barn was adorable, clean, private and had absolutely everything our family needed for a memorable and FUN family getaway. Rob, the owner, was very attentive and made sure our stay was perfect. The location is spot-on, close to everything; most importantly it's just steps away from gorgeous Lake Michigan and stunning Lake Shore Dr. We spent our mornings biking to Woosaw, the local outdoor coffee company that has an amazing outdoor area to sit and enjoy a morning beverage while planning our day. After, we would bike Lake Shore Dr. admiring the beautiful homes and geogeous lake views. (I strongly suggest bringing bikes, it's very easy to bike around Douglas with all the bike paths and Lake Shore Dr. is very pedestrian friendly for walkers and bikers) We spent many hours in the hot tub on the private/clean grounds all while watching deer graze in the field behind the barn. We also took advantage of the charcoal grill to cook dinners and propane firetpit to enjoy an evening fire. To view the stunning sunsets we either walked or biked Lake Shore Dr. or sat at the public beach. We were just a quick drive to Oval Beach which has crystal clear water, Mt. Baldhead steps and dunes and downtown Saugatuck where there was lots of shops and restaurants. The Tiny Barn is a gem!!!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a five minute walk to Lake Michigan. Lots of walking looking at the Lake. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Cute, very cute inside.
