Lisa, I’m sorry to see that you were not satisfied with your stay. I would like to take this time to address your review as I feel it is heavily exaggerated and not a fair assessment. I’m pretty shocked to see that you gave me a 3 star on my communication when we communicated frequently and no messages were left unanswered, I was also pretty fast to respond as well. So I am confused how you felt that way. As for your comment that we don’t seem to care about our guests experiences is a very wild statement to make over a sink faucet? I’m sorry you felt the sink faucet was too close to the sink bowel this is the first complaint I’ve had on that so I will ask others if it is bothersome for them as well and replace it if it’s an issue so that others don’t feel that I don’t care about their experience with us. I would like to point out that the other sink in the kitchen is approximately 5 steps away from the bathroom sink if the bathroom one was that bothersome for you. You did have options on another sink. I did notice my sink faucet was loose after you checked out however it was not that way before you arrived. That was an easy fix to just tightened it right back up. -not a huge deal. I can assure you that the showers are always cleaned after every stay. The bottles in the shower are there because I supply shampoo and conditioners for my guests to be kind. I personally open them and leave them there. I’m sorry you found a few hairs in the bathroom that I missed while cleaning I will make sure I double check before I leave from now on. As for the spiders/bug comment, I did not find any when I was there but will definitely keep a look out and take care of them as I see them. I do find some on occasion. This home is surrounded by fields and farmlands so it would be almost impossible to never have a small spider or ladybug sometimes. You are correct about my sub pump it does run frequently as I let you know before you’re stay that it is a high water table area so it will run often but there isn’t anything I can do about that, unless I let my basement flood. Luckily the pump is a pretty quiet pump. It doesn’t personally bother me and I don’t even really hear it anymore but I can understand being in a different house and area than what you are use to you may notice it more. I’m saddened that you were feeling this way but never tried to address it with me directly while you were staying. In the future I hope you give your other hosts the benefit of doubt and express your concerns to them and give them a chance to address your concerns than to put it in a review this way. These reviews tremendously impacts our businesses and can really hurt us. I truly care how my guests feel and always want them to feel welcomed and comfortable.
