Détendez-vous en famille dans cet appartement de deux chambres situé au rez-de-chaussée, directement sur la plage. Profitez d’une vue imprenable sur l’océan et la plage depuis votre terrasse privée et depuis les deux chambres. Situé au sein du Palapa Beach Resort, un complexe calme et isolé à Jan Thiel. Plongée avec tuba ou bouteille juste devant votre terrasse. Piscine paisible offrant une vue fantastique sur la baie de Spanish Water. Nous sommes un complexe résidentiel sécurisé avec un service de sécurité 24 h/24. L'accès à la plage est gratuit ; nous mettons à votre disposition des serviettes de plage et des transats. Lave-linge dans l'appartement. Climatisation dans chaque pièce. Une place de parking réservée et le portail d’accès à la plage de Caracasbaai se trouvent juste à côté de l’appartement. Trois restaurants en bord de mer sont accessibles à pied. Une marina proposant la location d’équipements de loisirs se trouve juste en face. Nous sommes situés au sein du Palapa Beach Resort. What a beautiful place. The condo has everything you could possibly need. If you choose to cook, the kitchen is very well stocked. Austin is super responsive and flexible. The views are amazing with snorkeling at your feet. I would give this place a 110/100.

Lovely unit with an ocean view. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck and the view. The unit is just as advertised. It was very clean and well appointed, everything to make our holiday enjoyable. The location is great - close to Jan Thiel without all the traffic & people. Austin was very easy to work with - our appreciation for his suggestions of local restaurants! Great holiday!

My wife and I stayed 7 nights. We resided in the master bedroom while leaving the guest room unused. The owner left beach chairs, a beach blanket and beach towels, which was a lifesaver for us. Air conditioning goes to freezing. Paper towels, laundry, and dishwasher soap supplied. We didn't need to purchase anything other than our own groceries and shower soap. My wife and I considered the accommodations wonderful.The condo is on the 1st floor overlooking the bay. The pool, parking and the private beach are within 50 yards max. of the front door. There are a many great restaurants within walking distance. Our favorites were the Bristo Do Mar which has a great breakfast and music starting in the evening, while the Villa Vis Jan Thiel had wonderfully fresh seafood. The beach could use some minor maintenance, however there was hardly anyone on it while we were there- Many critters to see on its reef while snorkeling.One minor negative event on night 2 of our stay: A huge drilling platform was pulled into the edge of the bay. My wife and I awoke up to see a city block size structure, which was lit like a Christmas tree at night (she loved it). We disagreed on whether to make this part of the review, because clearly this was no fault of the lessor. I mention this merely to give notice for potential inquiry at the time of booking, and no pictures were posted on the site of past similar past events.- We highly Recommend; There is so much more to say, but no space.

This place was incredible! It was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were board games, books, and water toys for our use. There was a spectacular ocean view from every room. The pool was clean and also had quite a view. The beach had some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced. There were two excellent restaurants within walking distance, and both were on the water. Our host Austin took great care of us the entire time. We would definitely recommend this place and would book it again.

Loved our visit!

Austin was very responsive to our needs. Renato was also great! We absolutely loved the condo... it suited our tastes and comfort levels perfectly. We especially loved the well stocked kitchen and of course the view was phenomenal!

Beautiful Curacao

Very nice, loved the layout. Kitchen appliances great and beds were comfortable. Close proximity to the pool and deck overlooking bay. Steps away from the beach that included palapas. Condo has portable beach chairs. Oil derrick impeded ocean view but was pretty quiet. Bay view was beautiful. Several awesome restaurants nearby.

We arrived on a Sunday and found the only route to access condo was a narrow lane with cars and boat trailers parked on both sides and a pretty rough crowd loitering.We learned this is a public boat launch and either parking on the narrow lane is allowed or not enforced.Upon arrival we couldn’t get the key pad to work.Before our fingers even TOUCHED the key pad, beeping would begin and random numbers would light up(not the numbers provided as the code).We tried everything-going in from the side, hovering over the numbers but not touching etc.It took almost 15mins to get in.The same thing happened when we returned from the grocery so contacted owner who told us we would have to use the key lock box.*This indicated the malfunction was NOT new.No luck w lockbox.He sent a new lock box code on day 2.He didn’t contact maintenance until 10pm the evening of day 2.We did not feel our stay was a priority or this would have been dealt with b4 our arrival or upon first notification. There were LOUD parties at the pool, the thumping from the music went until 3am both nights.The evening of day 2 we did decide to ask to be let out of the rental agreement. Too much work for vaca. Seeking peace and ease.We asked Austin the next morning and he said we could depart and only if he found someone else to fill our days we would be partially refunded.(Not likely).Our comfort was not a priority to him but it was to us.We forfeited 1800 and moved elsewhere for peace.Bad start to beautiful Curacao.

Quiet apartment on Curacao

Apartment was quiet and comfortable. Could easily host 4 people but there was only two of us. Kitchen had more utensils than other places we stayed. Apartment was clean, had towels, and pool toys. It was extremely close to the pool. We used the washer which worked well. The biggest surprise was the view of the oil rig, but it was quiet. Lots of dive boats still used the area for diving and other water sports. The breeze off the water was very comfortable. Austin was easy to communicate with, but guard did not know where unit was and at first did not want to leave guard shack. We arrived at dark and insisted on being shown where unit was. He at first took us to the wrong building. There is a tracery store nearby.

We loved the condo! Everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were very responsive. There was an issue with the locking mechanism on one of the sliding doors and Renato responded immediately even though we said it wasn't an emergency. He was very nice and recommended the Playa Porto Marie beach that he takes his family to. We loved it so much, we went twice. Also drove up to Playa Lagun which has a very nice restaurant on the cliff overlooking the beach. Tugboat Beach is right around the corner from the condo. We had so much fun snorkeling in all those locations and saw sea turtles twice. We also took the provided beach chairs down to the beach right outside the condo and sat under one of the palapas for a few hours. Sunday was very busy there, but on every other day they were no people.Our favorite restaurants were:Kome in Willemstad - Inspired menu, excellent service, on-site brewery, and homemade ice cream. The escargot app was to die for!Salu in Jan Thiel - Good food, good service, live music. We had a ravioli with cheese app that was really good.Ocean House 19 in Willemstad - Breezes could not be beat, good food, great service. If you like sashimi, don't miss the tiradito app.
