Beautiful property. Home had what we needed except for a regular oven. However the microwave worked well. Beware the roosters start crowing early. I was surprised about this. Communication with the property owner was good. Issues were addressed immediately. (No power to garage door..)

In town before a cruise
We were in town for couple of days before our cruise. Had a great time. On a quiet side street.
6 adults on our party so we were looking for 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms.
Some small details would make the stay a 5 star.

Visit to San Juan
Lovely place with a very nice rooftop. We could walk to La Placita, so many restaurants, and the beach was only a 15min walk or so. The house was clean and everything seemed to work nicely. The only thing I’d mention is the roosters that walk around the area make quite some noise throughout the night. Our hosts communication is awesome. They reached out to us regularly to communicate everything before check in and check out. I would recommend.

Great PR experience
The location, size and space of the apartment was fantastic for a family of six. Location is in the city so it can be loud at times but we expected that. And walking to places was super easy and Uber rides were also easy to get from this location! The size and space of bedrooms and main living area were accommodating and comfortable. The downfall of our stay was the showers- they never stayed warm or they got extremely hot, intolerable to the skin. So we all had to take cold showers daily.

Trip to San juan
The showers were either scalding hot or ice cold. All 3 showers were the same. Parking was impossible. No way our car could fit in the supplied garage.
Other than that, it was a nice condo close to old San Juan. If they would fix the showers I would stay here again.

NOT A GOOD HOST
Our first night at the VRBO, the electric key ran out of battery. It was 1:30 am and we couldn't get in. the host said there was a lockbox with a spare, but that was not true. My friends and I had to spend the full night wandering around San Juan, and the host wouldn't even call me to provide help. We stayed up till 9:00 am when the host finally helped. The host said he would refund us for the night that we were stranded; he has not done so. VRBO was also incredibly unhelpful.

Our stay unfortunately did not meet expectations due to several issues that arose throughout our visit. The first concern was the parking situation. The designated spot is extremely narrow, and when a vehicle is parked on the street (which was consistently the case), it became nearly impossible to safely maneuver into the space.Additionally, the listing indicated that bunk beds would be available; however, upon arrival we discovered they were not, and no prior notice was given regarding this change. Shortly after settling in, we also found trash left in the upstairs toilet, which suggested that the space had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.Another significant issue was the lack of hot water. It appeared that the shower knobs in all bathrooms were restricted, preventing us from accessing hot water entirely. There was also a leak in the ceiling near the top of the stairs, which felt concerning from both a comfort and safety standpoint. Furthermore, the chain on the upstairs bathroom door was broken and offered no privacy.While communication with the host was acceptable, none of these issues were resolved during our stay. For these reasons, we would not recommend staying at this property
