Peaceful log cabin on Tennessee River! Pet friendly, close to historical sites.

Serene as it is beautiful, this 100 year old cabin on the bluff of the Tennessee River has everything you'll need for a memorable stay. Imagine yourself sitting on the porch in the early morning, drinking your coffee, listening to the birds sing their morning songs while you're mesmerized by the rolling majestic river before you. You'll be surrounded by absolute peace. The cabin has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay during any season- A/C and a bbq for the warmer months; a fireplace and cozy blankets for the cooler months. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware, coffee pot, blender, microwave, toaster. Just ask and I'm sure I have it! Also, the communities around this quiet neighborhood are steeped in American history. Visit Shiloh Military Park which is a 20 min drive away or enjoy some catfish at the local restaurant along the river also within a 20 min drive. If you want to stay hidden away, the cabin is close enough to town that you can have food or groceries delivered. Nothing is within walking distance; be forewarned! One more thing... while I have beds for up to six people in the cabin, I also have separate space available for 2 more guests in the apartment across the driveway. It has a king sized bed, fully stocked kitchen, small sitting area and full bathroom with shower and tub. No tv though! Small balcony overlooks the street. I can send pics and provide pricing and availability if you desire.

We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck overlooking the TN River. We saw eagles flying around the area. It is within 10 minutes into Savannah. It was a very peaceful stay and we would go back.

This place was awesome, excellent view of the river, close to town and the rural areas too. It even has an indoor fireplace in the living room that gives it that cozy cabin feel. It's the perfect place for a winter stay. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back!

AMAZING place to visit!! The cabin was so beautifully furnished & the grounds were perfect. The river view from the back porch is so tranquil! It was very evident that the owners want you to have a great experience! Attention was paid to every little detail & honestly, we could not have felt more at home! We are planning to make this an annual trip and are already looking forward to going back. The host is very gracious and helpful. She responds very quickly & answers your questions. So thankful to be able to stay in such a wonderfully loved historic cabin! Kudos to the hostess!

Home decorated for valentines with roses on table surrounded by candy and heart streamers on the mantle and on bed post. It was a lovely stay. The only complaints would be more TV app access and a new mattress on bed. The mattress is definitely a personal choice my wife and I sleep on very firm mattress.

We loved this cabin. We watched barges going up and down the river from the porch. The hosts were great and we will definitely stay at this cabin again when back in this area.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were in the area to visit the Shiloh battlefield and Corinth, MS. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed watching the barge traffic on the river. We would definitely stay again.

I clean this property myself. I take pride in its cleanliness. Rest assured that all high touch surfaces, bathrooms, bannisters and everything in between is properly scoured, scrubbed, and cleaned. I wash all bedding including pillows and mattress protectors. I try to catch every dust bunny, stray hair and spiderweb. If you come across a bug, keep in mind that we're surrounded by nature but I do provide swatters, sprays, catchers, and zappers. If anything is amiss, I'll bend over backwards to try and correct the issue. You are my guest and I will do my best to make sure your stay is comfortable and peaceful. All I ask is that you respect the work I've put into it and above all, respect the cabin and her belongings. Thank you.
