We had a lovely stay at Villa Meliti. Andrie, our host, was fabulous. She was very responsive both before and during our stay. She was very helpful for arranging airport transfers and also an amazing chef prepared meal at home - a highlight of our stay. Check in was easy. Andrie met us at the villa and surprised us with a much appreciated welcome basket of local treats. Villa was comfortable for our group of 6 adults and we found the kitchen to be well appointed.

Faultless from start to finish — genuinely one of the best stays we’ve had! The host is the standout. Before we’d even arrived she’d offered to do a food shop so the fridge was stocked, and she organised our transfers so we didn’t have to think about a thing. Nothing was too much trouble. She also clocked which wine we’d been enjoying and quietly left two extra bottles for us mid-week — that’s the kind of detail you can’t fake.The villa itself is immaculate. Spotlessly clean throughout, every bedroom with its own en suite, and the pool was pristine all week. Every amenity you could want was already there.We have high standards and Villa Meliti met every one of them. If anything, the photos undersell it — it’s even better in person.We’d go back tomorrow…and intend to! Thank you so much.

Everything was spectacular, the hosts were helpful and accommodating and the property was immaculate and completely stocked with everything to make it a stress free and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Villa

An amazing Villa in walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Excellent hostess Andrie was available for all our needs, helping with fabulous information in the area and what to do. House is immaculate and outdoor area with pool and games was terrific. Can’t wait to arrange for another visit.

Beautiful villa!

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Meliti. The villa was beautiful and very clean. Plenty of different areas to sit and relax and the pool was great. The location is brilliant too, a walk down the road to the beach and restaurants and just a short drive from Chania and Agia Marina. Andrie and Georgios were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome. We would love to go back. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Stunning Villa to explore Chania and surrounds

Villa Meliti was the perfect home away from home for our two families. The hosts Andrie and George were incredibly kind and thoughtful and had provided Easter Eggs for the children and a range of local delicacies. They were always available and gave us great tips to make the most of our stay.It was such a treat that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom.The villa is spotless with every modern convenience you could want and is in a fabulous location, walking distance to shops and the beach.Highly recommend Villa Meliti!

Fantastic villa and location, gentle 5 minute walk to the beach, large pool, balcony, quiet location. The host Andrie arranged airport transfers for us both ways. Drive us to the supermarket for our large food shop, suggested a local restaurant and booked us a table, drove us to dinner at a local authentic taverna and brought us home again. Topped up our supply of Rakomelo. Couldn’t fault our stay. 10/10

Wonderful villa

We had a great week in this villa which had lots of room and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The hosts were both very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the shopping left for us after our late evening arrival - especially the huge plate of fruit which we enjoyed very much. The pool was excellent and very clean and good for small children. The location was perfect - just a short walk to shops and restaurants and the sea front. Would definitely recommend!

excellent villa

The villa had everything you would need, lots of kitchen crockery, utensils etc and outside for the BBQ area. beach towels, wonderful soft towels for showering etc. The showers were always full power and hot. Andrei the owner took us to the big supermarket to collect our big shop for our weeks stay, smaller supermarkets very close to the villa also. The beach was very good and really good food, beach parasols etc at the Golden Bay hotel/cafe restaurant on the beach. couldn't really fault the villa.

Lovely place!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Meliti.The house was great (just like the pictures); it really felt like a home away from home.Floorplan was well thought out with exits to the patio and pool area from the kitchen and living room, all bedrooms had exits to garden or balcony and we all appreciated the en suite bathrooms.We spent a lot of time at the patio/pool area, which was just as thought out and carefully taken care of as the house.Our hostess was amazing; warm, caring, responsive and service minded.I definitely recommend Villa Meliti and would love to stay there again some day.

Fantastic house and owners

5 star experience in this great house. The owners Are the most service minded people I ever experienced, helping with everything you Ask for. The house itself has a great outdoor area for kids and adults with a Big swimming Pool and bbq area. The inside has great aircondition in every room and the house works great for both children and adults. We Are deligted that we chose this house and can strongly reccomend this to everybody.

Spring break in Chania

Family holiday with adult children. Everyone had a great time. Lovely property, very clean, modern and well looked after. Great pool and also fun to play table tennis and mini golf, using materials provided to create different holes. Short walk to the beach and Chania is also walkable along the coast in 1hr if you like (about 3 miles), can get number 15 bus back. Chania is a lovely harbour town and we found many good restaurants with advice from Andrie. Andrie and George were excellent hosts and looked after us very well. Even when the entire Chania area was covered in Saharan sand after a freak storm they managed to get the pool and garden clean v quickly when many properties around were struggling.

Brilliant stay in a fantastic villa!

We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights in this great location in August/ September 2023. From the initial booking confirmation to our final minutes in the villa our hosts were fantastic. Arranging airport collection, basic foods, fruit and wine on arrival, booking restaurants, taxi's, supermarket runs - simply 1st class. Thank you!! The villa also met our every need. Clean, great pool, bbq, outside dining, super layout, table tennis and a putting green to keep us occupied. Location was also excellent for 500m stroll to the beach, supermarkets and some lovely restaurants by the sea. 15 minutes from Chania by taxi - PERFECT in so many ways. Amazing experience beginning to end!

Villa Meliti is phenomenal! It is a beautiful property with a pool, sea views, and is easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the lively Kalamaki beach! We were welcomed by the property owners upon arrival with fruit, wine, and the regional specialty drink Raki. The hosts/owners were very responsive and helpful starting prior to and extending through our stay. Whether it was arranging for transfer and taxi services, or offering recommendations for destinations and dining options, they were available and rapidly responsive. It would not be possible to recommend this home, and its owners, any more than I am! They are both amazing! If you plan to visit Crete you have to consider Villa Meliti!

We have spent a wonderful week in Villa Meliti with some friends of mine. All has been Wonderfull ! Everything you may need, you can find it there! Andrie and George are two wonderfull persons and really active and efficient in organizing all the visits and activities we wanted. ! The villa was even better than description and photos , the pooL is amazing as. All was clean and we had clean linens and towels every 3 days! Kitchen is great and all is perfect . Location peaceful, 5-6 restaurant and 2 small supermarkets within 5 min walk, and the villa is located in kalamaki which is a suburb of chania, which is an advantage because on the one hand it's 5 min drive to chania center and on the other hand it is very peaceful and green. EXCELLENT LOCATION

We are a group of 7 adults and had a brilliant stay , this villa is perfect for families with Children or friends , you can;t really go wrong - the location is excellent - 5 minute walk to 3 or 4 restaurants , 2 small supermarkets , the beach and only 15 minute walk to a few more restaurants - you can walk to the 2 big supermarkets , took about 30 minutes for lighter supplies but George + Andrie ( Hosts ) will take you and pick you up for a big shop , some of our group even walked to Chania , took about an hour but Taxis are easy to flag down but Andrie would organise all taxis if we asked - the villa is superb with a great Pool , Barbecue area , table tennis and putting area for mini golf !! - Cleaners came a couple of times a week and did a great job - Andrie organised Taxis to and from the Airport at a very reasonable price - you do not need to hire a car for this villa unless you want lots of days out exploring - The hosts were Brilliant , always available if we needed Taxis or a shopping run to the supermarket , they brought us some lovely home cooked food , overall Andrie and George are just lovely people who took care of us from start to finish and couldn't do any more for you - I would highly recommend this Villa

Outstanding villa

We have had the most amazing holiday. All of the previous reviews are true. The hosts are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Andrei arranged our transfers from the airport. When we arrived there was additional shopping as well as the welcome pack which was on the house. We received fresh eggs and home cooked Greek food during our stay! Any queries were answered immediately, e.g bus timetables, recommendations of things to do. We were allowed to stay in the villa until our transfer pick up late in the evening. The list goes on! The villa itself had everything we needed. It is modern, clean and spacious. The pool is amazing and there were lots of games, inflatables (and pump) to use. We were a family of 4 and family of 5, so 9 of us altogether. We didn’t hire a car. There are restaurants in walking distance and we got the bus along to Agia marina beach and also into Chania which is well worth a visit! We went to a water park which had its own bus that picked us up from kalamaki. We would love to return here and would highly recommend to others!!

Excellent overall

This was a lovely property which was located ideally for us as a larger group with a car. It was clean and comfortable and if there was anything we felt was missing, Andrie, the host, immediately went out of her way to provide it. On one of the days my husband became unwell with a stomach bug and Andrie was amazing in terms of going to the pharmacy for us to obtain medications and electrolytes. She was incredibly generous and gracious. She also booked restaurants for us when we needed, and helped me book a taxi one day when my husband wasn’t able to drive due to his illness. She never made me feel as though I was asking for too much. We mainly dined in downtown Chania (about a twenty min drive away), but the local restaurants we did try (walking distance from the villa) were excellent. Grocery store five min drive away and smaller local stores within walking distance. We did feel a bit inconvenienced by the fact that the wifi didn’t work upstairs, and if that had been articulated in the property description, it would have been helpful to know in advance. The pool isn’t heated but our kids happily jumped in nonetheless even though it was a tad chilly in October. Overall we had a lovely stay and I can’t say enough good things about Andrie’s hospitality.

Our number one aim and priority is for our guests to feel at home and provide them with the maximum level of assistance required for a wonderful stay. Please allow me to clarify something regarding the internet upstairs, mainly for other guests reading this review to know. Indeed, if I were a traveler searching for accommodation, I would have second thoughts about staying at a property with wi-fi not working correctly. The internet was working just fine during the season and no other guest has mentioned that, you can see this from the rest of the reviews from 2024 as well as from previous years. As I had mentioned to you, I noticed that, for some reason, it was weak upstairs indeed. Your husband asked me for a cable to try to change the connection with the extender. I bought one and brought it to you immediately when requested, and I was thrilled and grateful that he managed to fix it and that it was working correctly, as you said. Thank you for joining us at Villa Meliti. It was my pleasure meeting you and your beautiful family. Une superbe villa pour visiter l'ouest de la crete

La villa est très confortable et très bien équipée. Parfait pour une grande famille. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement agréables : très souples pour les heures d'arrivée et de départ. Ils nous ont apporté des fruits, légumes et œufs. Le ménage a été fait plusieurs fois pendant notre séjour . Un endroit où l'on se sent très bien.

Confort and relaxing week

Séjour de rêve, George aux petits soins pour nous, les légumes frais du jardin. Les 4 chambres avec salles-de-bain sont idéales, de l'espace et beaucoup de goût pour cette jolie maison, les photos reflètent bien la réalité. Calme, confort et luxe...toutes les commodités à proximité, mais véhicule nettement recommandé pour découvrir les magnifiques plages de la région (Balos, Elafonissi) Séjour du 8 au 16 juillet, 2 familles (8 personnes)
