The Blue Llama is a privately owned condo at Waterwheel Condominiums. Centrally located, just 2 minutes from Schliterbahn, Comal river, historic Gruene, Gruene Hall, and downtown. Perfect spot to stay for Wurstfest. This 3rd floor corner unit features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Guests have private access to the Guadalupe river. The property has two pools (one heated) and 4 hot tubs. Get back in touch with nature and enjoy the wide open green lawn shaded by pecan trees.
The Blue Llama is a great place to kick back and relax! A bit of an adult upgrade from your reminiscent child hood tree house, nestled on the third floor with pecan trees all around.

Enjoy all that the Texas hill Country has to offer with the Guadelupe river right in your back yard, connecting to the Comal, and Schlitterbahn a walk away, what more could one ask for? Historic Gruene is around the corner as well as downtown New Braunfels. Whitewater amphitheater, Canyon Lake, Lake Mcqueeney, Lake Dunlap are not to far away.

Enjoying New Braunfels

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Llama. Ideal location, near everything New Braunfels has to offer and a short drive to Gruene as well. The facility has great amenities, pools and hot tubs, plus private river access. We saw security patrolling the parking lots and grounds on several occasions. Aimee was a great host and provided us recommendations for local restaurants. The condo had everything we needed for our stay.

Spring Break 2024

I drove my 15 year old son and two of his friends from California to the Texas Hill Country to tube down the river, see The Eclipse, and visit family. Aimee helped me add a night at the last minute and gave me so many different options for tubing, restaurants, things to do and answered all of my questions quickly. The condo was very clean and had plenty of room for all of us and have my aunts visit for the day. The Guadalupe River is at the back of the property down a grassy hill. The boys loved it. The deer were everywhere and we so enjoyed seeing them walking about and hanging out. I would definitely stay at The Blue Llama again!!!!!
