Whether you are planning a peaceful couple’s getaway or an active family vacation, this is a wonderful direct oceanfront home on popular Moonstone Beach for you to enjoy. Spectacular180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean & Coastline that surrounds this 3 bedroom; 2 bath home. Renovated, new LVP wood look floors, primary bathroom updated tile, tub, vanities, etc. The living area faces the sea, capturing white water, full ocean, boardwalk, and sunset views. The front deck overlooks the Boardwalk, the ocean and has a BBQ on the deck too. A family room on the first floor provides space for families to spread out and relax. Gaze at people surfing, enjoying the boardwalk, and even passing whales when the season is right. This home is within walking distance to dinner at Sea Chest or Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill, or just a short 2 blocks to the West Village. Close by is Leffingwell Landing, Tidepools, Elephant Seals, Lighthouse, Hearst Castle, and the beach. You may even spot some migrating whales! Shamel Park (with a swimming pool and children’s play area) is close by as well. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pans, and small appliances for those who like to cook. Bring your laptop and use the free Wi Fi. A washer and dryer are also available for your use. If you are looking for direct beach access, comfort, beautiful views, sunsets, and relaxation, this is the place. Sorry, No Pets. No Smoking. Construction next door may be ongoing.

So many things that added to the overall enjoyment of the stay. - The deck with ample seating overlooking the ocean.- Easy access to the boardwalk bordering the beach.- Up to date furniture particularly the 4 comfy chairs with throws on each chair placed at the picture window overlooking the sea.- Large L-shaped sofa that more than accommodated the 4 adults (parents & 2 grown children) to stretch out in front of the wall-mounted TV.- Loved exploring the little town of Cambria and it's just 10 miles up the coast to the Hearst Castle - a must on our places to visit. - The kitchen is well equipped. - Very comfortable and clean.

Perfect spot and perfect place. Highly recommend if you enjoy the beauty of Moonstone and Cambria. Everything was perfect. Whale and Dolphin watching from the porch can’t be beat. Seriously amazing. Owner/Manager was very responsive before and during the stay. We will be back.

We were happy with the location and really enjoyed the view. The home had a good amount of space for 2 kids 3 adults. WE had two serious falls/slipps while coming home on the stairs and stepping our of the shower to reach for a towel. Stairs had sharp metal edges hard to navigate and all the floors lacking safety matts or any kind of rugs. Bedroom had no wifi and LR had terrible wifi. The refridge ice machine was broken, main screen/glass door did not latch, the house when we arrived had a musty smell and the downstairs bathroom door wouldn't close. I would not recommend the house for a rental.

While the location of the home is wonderful, the house is poorly maintained and understocked for the price you pay per night. First, the house is loud. I do not recommend this home for families with children or light sleepers. You will hear footsteps no matter what room you are staying in. Doors stick and creak. Second, the house was dirty. The back patio was filthy. We could have used a leaf blower to help but no tools were onsite. The glass panels on the patio were so dirty you couldn't see through them if you're sitting on the patio furniture. The furniture in the bedrooms is old. Looks like the owner kept the furniture from the previous owner. The beds were loud and uncomfortable. One mattress has the telltale crater in the middle where you roll into the middle. The oven didn't work and needed to be replaced. They brought over a countertop convection oven. The ice machine didn't work (which was pointed out in a previous review and not repaired). We had to ask for ice trays. The showers didn't have liners, just dirty curtains. The house has an ant problem. Cell service is poor so there were landlines in the house. None of them worked. The WIFI didn't work on the TVs. The DVD player downstairs didn't work either. The location is the only thing that made it worth it.

Perfect stay right on the beach

We were a group of 6 adults and we stayed here for 3 nights. The house is located right on Moonstone Beach and has beautiful views. It was well stocked in the kitchen and there were plenty of towels. Overall it was a perfect place to stay!

The Top of Moonstone Beach
