Our family of 5, all adults stayed in this beautiful home for a birthday celebration weekend and wine tasting. The 3 bedrooms, (all en-suite) were fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we cooked one evening. We loved the stunning ocean view right from the living area and wonderful balcony looking right down onto the beach. There is a hot tub on the balcony, but we didn’t take advantage of it. We loved that there was beach access right from the home with the steps and handrails. We spent two days in Paso Robles wine tasting, and one day in San Simeon and Cambria. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely stay here again. Communication with the property management office was good.

Right next to the preserve for daily walks. Super comfortable beds. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house could use a new set of dishes, but otherwise it was perfect. Great location

I wanted to love this more but the other reviews about the outdated interior are correct. Batteries not working in remotes. I did call and they said there are extra in the kitchen. Wrong kind. No shower amenities, no soap in the kitchen, one of windows facing the ocean lost their seal so it’s foggy at all times. Pillows uncomfortable, checker board with zero checkers, just little things like that that do add up. Location is amazing but for the price you’d think they would take a bit more care. Upstairs bathroom had a horrible smell so our daughter used ours. Carpets have huge stains, jacuzzi cover has only one clip that works, tub in master is out of order
would not stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always enjoy but this time, there were a few problems. Mostly minor but one in particular, was annoying. One of the large windows has been clouded with moisture between the glass panes, rendering the lookout from the whole window pretty much useless. Other than that, there many stains on the carpet (heard it was being replaced), one shade in the Main Bedroom did not work, the mattresses in the Main and 2nd floor bedrooms have seen better days. One last minor thing. For 6 coffee drinkers, the coffee pot takes "forever"! Still, our favorite place in Cambria.

Amazing spot with epic views

This house is even better in person than in the photos. The location and views simply can’t be beat. We spent a large part of our stay outside on the deck soaking in the views and enjoying whales, otters, dolphins and more. The inside is a little dated as the pictures show but it was very very clean and pristine inside. The kitchen is very well equipped which is always appreciated. We had 3 couples and the layout was perfect for our group. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The house is spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family gathering. Very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub at night while gazing at the stars! One important suggestion: please replace or repair the large picture window that has condensation so the views can be fully enjoyed. The BBQ needs maintenance; the igniter didn’t work. I enjoyed cooking but couldn’t find a cheese grater or whisk. Overall, I highly recommend Sandy Beach!

Ideal Setting

We've vacationed in Cambria several times. We like it. This home would get one star but for the location and sound of the waves. Carpet is dirty and needs to be relaced. So do sheets and pillows. Picture windows and plexiglass on deck are stained and dirty.Mgmt company hasn't paid attention.

Long Weekend Getaway

The location is what really drew me to this property. In addition they had a spa on the deck overlooking the private beach and a great working fireplace in the living room. While we were in Cambria the entire city lost power and we were left in the dark from 7PM to about 3AM. The host had camping lanterns in the front closet and we found them immediately upon returning home in the dark... unbelievable! Phones died and the fire only lit up part of the living room so the lanterns saved the day. Would recommend 10/10. Hope to visit again.

Great house, beautiful location!

Sooo relaxing with the surf and the hot tub on the deck. Hiking trails out the door, also a bonus. We all absolutely loved this vacation and the whole area and the beautiful town of Cambria.
