Towering Pines accommodates large family gatherings to enjoy the Adirondacks while providing amble space for everyone. There is plenty of room inside and out! Sit in the screened porch & enjoy the quite wooded lot, sit at the fire pit and enjoy the star filled sky or spend time in the new game room! This is a 4 season retreat with plenty of amenities in and around the camp for the entire family to enjoy! We are located perfectly for so many activities such as hiking, kayaking, SUP, boating, fishing, hunting and in the winter the main C4 snowmobile trail is on the property to permit direct access. Oak Mountain Ski area is 1 mile away for quick ski or wedding event access. Walk in, drop your bags and begin to enjoy all the Adirondacks has to offer.
The space
Towering pines has plenty of space all on one level! This spacious ranch style home boasts of a large kitchen and dining area that has a extremely large farm table (14’ x 5’) that easily seats 14 people. A newly constructed game room has a pool table, air hockey and foosball. The large screened in rear porch is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while looking out to the wooded rear lot. Maybe a deer or turkey will be in sight! The Living room is very comfortable and set up for great conversation and has a propane remote controlled fireplace to take the chill out or add some pleasant atmosphere. There are 5 large bedrooms, 2 have queen beds, 2 bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each and the 5th bedroom has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. There are also two bathrooms that have showers (one being quite large) and their is also a half bath near the library/TV room. Their is a full laundry on the premises that guests can use during their stay. The Camp also has a nice flat yard that would allow for many yard games to be played. Enjoy the star filled nights while roasting marshmallows around the large fire pit area. There is also ample parking on the property.
Guest access
The property sits on a wooded lot and is set back off the roadway. The yard is flat and provides plenty of space to set up a badminton or volley ball net, corn hole or other yard games. We just added a game room that has a pool table, air hockey, foosball and a chalkboard wall. A nice fire pit area is provided for the family to enjoy making s’mores or just sitting and relaxing and of course Star gazing and satellite counting is a must. For the winter guest there is plenty of space for snowmobile trailers and access to the trail system is on the property. Oak Mountain ski area is 1 mile away and Gore is about 40 minutes away.
