Garden Getaway is nestled right in the heart of Beverly (aka The Garden City). This unique 2-bedroom apartment is inspired by the beautiful green spaces right around the corner like the Beverly Common and the blooms of Lynch Park. It sits directly next to Montserrat College of Art and is walking distance to all downtown Beverly has to offer. Pull into a private parking spot, step into the pre-1900 elegant Victorian home and conveniently find your private apartment on the second floor.

Once you step inside you'll immediately be greeted by the vibrant and colorful decor throughout. The living room is the perfect place to unwind and stream your favorites or take advantage of the dedicated workspace. A large bedroom with king bed is off the living room complete with walk-in closet.

Past the living room you'll find an eclectic eat-in kitchen complete with granite counters and coffee bar. In the back of the apartment you'll find the second bedroom with queen bed and another large walk-in closet.

*This is a second floor apartment of a multi-family historic home so there are stairs needed to access the unit and the unit is not suitable for those with mobility issues. You may hear reasonable level sounds of other building residents during your stay. If there is ever any excessive noise we are always a quick call away to address this.

The property was great, nicely appointed, and cozy! We all thought the beds were very comfortable. It was walking distance to a cute downtown with great food options. It was an easy drive to Boston from the property and one day we took the train to Salem. We had a great stay, I highly recommend it.

We stayed for two nights, and the apartment is decorated beautifully. The beds are very comfortable, and the hot water and water pressure are great. The stairs are a bit narrow, but we didn’t have any trouble with them.The only issue we ran into was entering the apartment. It seems a new digital key lock was recently installed, but the information provided (including the videos) hadn’t been updated, so we weren’t given the code. Once we got that sorted, everything else was great.If you plan to stay here, just make sure to confirm you have the front door code before arrival.

Adorable and clean location right outside of Salem!

This location was perfect for our weekend visiting Salem. The property was perfect for 4 adults. It was clean and had sheets, towels, fully stocked kitchen and a coffee/tea bar! It was a 6-8 minute drive into downtown Salem. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay for couples or families. The host, Rachel, supplies everything you may need during your stay. Close to Salem and the train station for trips elsewhere. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Lovely!

The location of the property was excellent for our itinerary. AC was very effective. Decor was lovely. Kitchen well stocked with dishes. You couldn’t ask for a better host. It is a second floor walk up so be prepared 😊

Easy logistics, great location

We came to Beverly for a sailing regatta out of Jubilee Yacht Club, which was an easy walk from the Garden Getaway. The second floor apartment felt private and had a great view of the sky and other rooflines. Also it was a 3 min walk to our favorite sushi place! Rachel was very responsive and the pre-arrival information was excellent.

We had a cousin weekend getaway to Salem and this place was just a 7-8 min Uber ride away. It is super cute and just like the pictures (second bedroom isn’t in the photos). First bedroom had a lot of space but second bedroom you can’t walk around the bed as it is right against both walls but wasn’t an issue since I wasn’t sharing the room where someone needed to get to the other side of the bed. Check in process easy, key code was great and host very communicative. I have stayed in many vrbo’s and I always look at the details and small things hosts provide (from decor to gadgets and toiletries). This host decorated beautifully. The wallpaper is so great and the bedrooms have amazing pillows. The towels and hand towels on the bed was a nice touch too. Just a few things that would make this cute place even better would be a small basket of toiletries in the bathroom and a tiny starter basket of snacks and few drinks are details I’ve seen other places. Overall we loved this cute space and would rent again.

Great spot!

Cute apartment within easy walking distance from boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants in Beverly. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a second floor walk-up. Stairs weren't an issue for my group, so it was no problem. There is a coin operated clothes washer and dryer available in the basement, which was a nice perk.

Inaccurate Description

There are 30 stairs to walk up from where you park the car until you enter the apartment. The host doesn't describe that. We could not stay at this apartment because of that.

Havre de paix dans un beau quartier

Nous avons dormi 5 nuits dans cette belle maison victorienne. Quel plaisir de découvrir la rue Cabot, les parcs, les magnifiques maisons et la jolie plage à quelques pas. Bien situé, nous sommes allés visiter durant notre séjour Salem, Hampton, Newport (un peu loin), Boston et Kennebunkport.
