Outdoor enthusiasts' dream location with a huge backyard and quick access to restaurants, breweries, shopping, and more! Recently remodeled, you will love feeling like you're at the summer cottage but with more modern upgrades. Several state parks are within a fifteen-minute drive and Rocky Mountain National Park is one hour away. Start your day with an adventure by hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain climbing, or biking, and decompress by stargazing at the backyard firepit. Easily hop on the Poudre Trail and ride all the way to Old Town Fort Collins and beyond or walk down the trail to the local restaurant. Enjoy the sprawling backyard with beautiful foothill views and plenty of space for your dog to run around while you cook out on the grill. The inside is cozy and features an open floor plan perfect for family meals, board game nights, or sprawling out on the living room floor for a movie. Expect to see plenty of wildlife including birds, small critters, deer, and bears! Excellent location for a staycation or an everyday adventure base camp. Plenty of parking in the driveway, marijuana is legal in Colorado and allowed on the property. Absolutely no cigarettes at any time. We do not have central AC, however, you will find an evaporative cooler, window unit, and whole-house fan will keep the house cool on hot summer nights.

We've stayed here several times. We love the area and the convenience of this VRBO. It's works well for our dog and is convenient for biking into old town or driving up the canyon for a day hike. We will likely stay again!

Host was very nice, prompt and professional. Really nice place compared to most places we’ve stayed at. Place was well stocked with all the kitchen stuff you might want, as well as comfortable furniture, etc. The backyard is really big, fenced, and has all the luxuries you’d like. VERY CLEAN!

Amazing stay! Everything we needed to unwind and relax. Adorable small town with quick and easy access to nature. Very clean and had all cooking and eating utensils supplied. Very cozy and relaxing. The host Collen was responsive and attentive. We absolutely will return.

The property was very welcoming to pets and it is why I chose the property. We had a medical emergency with our dog and Colleen got right back to me with a veterinarian clinic! I so appreciated the help! All wood floors which makes the property feel cleaner when allowing pets.We would stay here again! Also the neighborhood was extremely quiet! There were 7 turkeys just strolling down the street. We were looking for a place in LaPorte. Not too far to town either. Great location to go up to Lory State park!

Colleen’s place was great!! My wife and I stayed there for a few days over our wedding weekend and it met our needs very well! We traveled from Missouri with our four dogs and they felt right at home there. The backyard was plenty big enough for all of them!

Really useful location for us, around the corner from family we were visiting and in proximity to lots of places we wanted to get to, including trips to Water World, Holiday Twin drive-in, Lory state park (to climb Arthur's Rock), and downtown Fort Collins (on the trolley car from the park!). Great communication from the hosts - we had a brilliant stay, thank you!

3rd stay at this property

Had another nice visit to Fort Collins area. We've stayed at this property 3 times now and have had a great stay each time. The location works well for doing things in town and in the mountains and the backyard is great for our dog.

So nice I stayed twice!

This was our second time staying at this property. It is conveniently located to downtown Fort Collins and Horsetooth and has a nice backyard for the dog. Plan to stay again on our next visit to Colorado.

I enjoyed my stay at Laporte, CO. The house was very clean and cozy. It was located in a very peaceful, quiet & nice neighborhood. I enjoyed seeing the deer & wild turkeys at night and early morning. Great yard/dog friendly!

We had a great stay. Dogs loved the large fenced back yard. It had comfortable outdoor seating. A nice fire pit area but it was too warm for us to have a fire. Patio was nice and relaxing to sit in the am. Easy access to walks/hikes, Fort Collins downtown.

Always enjoyable

We have stayed many times as it's a great home base to come back to when doing activities in the mountains and in Fort Collins. We travel with our dog so we definitely appreciate having a yard for her. We would stay again if traveling back to the area

This Laporte property is just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Quiet neighborhood, great house and the best back yard! Our family and pup enjoyed our stay at Colleen’s home. Thank you!

Checking out CSU

It was very convenient to check out CSU with my daughter. The area was great nice and quiet. The house seemed to be getting upgrades (done by the owners themselves I’m assuming) but that really doesn’t bother us at all. If we needed to I would absolutely stay there again.

Loved it!

We stayed just 4 nights over new years and had a great time. We had our dog with us and the backyard was perfect for her. The location is great-- a short drive to horsetooth and a short drive or bike ride to Old Town Fort Collins. We plan on returning!

Autumn stay in LaPorte

The house is located close to the foothills and also to downtown Fort Collins, which makes it an excellent home base on your travels. There is also a large backyard with a view of the foothills. It does the trick if you want a place to sleep and relax in between Colorado adventures!
