The location of this place was amazing! Walk to everything. Of course, with that comes a little difficulty parking. The listing says there is parking out front but didn’t mention that it isn’t available much of the time. Then you just have to park a block or so away. Not terrible but a little difficult with groceries or luggage. Plenty of space, nicely equipped kitchen. The shared space in the courtyard is a little awkward. The people living on the bottom were obviously not pleased when I walked through to get to this unit - even though I had no choice. They couldn’t even say hello. Made me feel less than welcome, that’s for sure. But other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

Thank you for choosing the Oak House. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and apologize that parking was difficult. I state that there is street parking (no limit) out front and as expected in a downtown at times can be harder to get a space than others. I apologize for my tenants and appreciate your feedback on how they made you feel. I have spoken to them and it was a guests of theirs I believe that you bumped into while entering. You are of course welcome and I want to be sure you feel welcome and comfortable always. Safe travels and come again!

Roomy house with perfect downtown location.

Location is perfect for Olde Town. Only one block away. Minimally furnished but has all the necessities. Will definitely be our go to place in Fort Collins.

Great location~Comfortable space

The upstairs space was comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked and functional. Our host was super responsive to questions we had and took care of additional needs we had.

Great location, iconic Old Town property, ample room,. Didn’t know it was an upstairs apartment in a multi unit house, but it worked well for my adult kids & me. Parking a challenge at times.

Perfect location

We had a great stay in Ft Collins and this property is in a great location. Close to town and CSU. We walked most of the time we were here. Maggie is great with communication. With my son now going to CSU, we hope to book again soon.

Great location in Fort Collins

This was a quiet, second floor apartment in a historic building located right in Old Town. The location was excellent and the multiple bedrooms worked well for our family of 4. Amenities are as described in the listing. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, this was an excellent home base for our local and RMNP travels and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great location

Great location, clean house, nice amenities. There's no central ac so it was very hot when we checked in, but after running the wall units and using the fans provided, we got the house to a comfortable temperature. The host is very responsive as well.

Location is perfect

You can’t beat the location of this house. Just a few minutes to all the shops and restaurants. The house is funky but served it’s purpose. My only suggestions would be to have extra blankets, more kitchen supplies, and more comfortable beds. For the price and location I would recommend it. Thank you!

Great location!

Friends and I decided to take a trip to Colorado. First stop...Fort Collins. This property has unlimited free on street parking right in front and is in walking distance to Old Town. The place was clean and had window air conditioners to keep us cool. There was great communication between the owner and myself from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a great place to stay in a convenient location!

Return Visit to Home Town

Very walkable to the downtown restaurants, grocery & shops. Surprised how quiet it was at night being in the heart of downtown. No designated parking but we had a handicap person with us and that spot was always available.

In the thick of it!

This house is so close to the active old town area that once you park, you likely never have to drive again until you check out! Wonderful restaurants, bars, shopping & entertainment. Not to mention the beautiful park down the block. This place is clean, quiet and inviting. It is a second story unit and there is a beautiful staircase entry. If lots of stairs are an issue for you then this may not be your cup of tea but we loved it!!

Clean, adequate. Best feature: Close to Old Towne. Very loud AC. You had better put some caution tape on the step into the kitchen before you wind up in a lawsuit for a fall.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I apologize you felt the ac was loud but it you had a 90 degree day I bet you enjoyed the cooling it provided. The small step into the kitchen goes from carpet to tile so have never had anyone not see the step. A lawsuit though for someone’s own personal misstep? That is not how I would treat anyone. Safe travels!

Historic home in Ft. Collins

We were in town with family to attend a wedding. 4 adults stayed in the home. The bedrooms were simple, clean, comfortable. There was a nice sized kitchen with all of the basic amenities and the TV room had comfortable seating. I liked the large windows which could be opened for fresh air. I also liked the ability to hang clothes in each bedroom. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it, however I would stay here again because it offered everything we needed, was good sized for 4 adults, and we could walk everywhere!
