This property is available as a vacation rental by virtue of a permit issued by Clatsop County. This permit is placed in jeopardy when the surrounding neighborhood is impacted by a guest's stay. We issue $250.00 fines for each violation of County Ordinances and each House Rule (this is your warning). Additionally, guests may be evicted for violations without refund. If actions of our guests lead to neighbor complaints or our permit being placed on probation or revocation, we hold guests responsible for all damages foreseen and unforeseen. In booking this property you accept all of these terms. To finalize your reservation, you are required to complete identity verification and fraud protection through our secure guest screening portal. This process is similar to standard hotel procedures, where you must present your government-issued ID and the credit card used for booking. The purpose is to verify your identity and assess the risk involved in hosting you. -No on street parking (Not even for loading or unloading) -Four (4) cars Maximum allowed (1 in garage, 3 in the driveway)*-No boats, RV's or Commercial Vehicles -Maximum Occupancy is 8 -Speed is strictly 25mph within community -No smoking or vaping of any kind -No Drugs legal or otherwise -Noise Ordinance is (No Noise) between 10:00pm and 8:00am -(1) One dog allowed with pet fee *Do Not Leave Pets unattended for any length of time *Not even in a crate* You will be asked to end your stay if your dog is left in the house unattended for any length of time. -Pick up after your dog on property and through community -Hot Tub Hours are strictly 7:00 am to 10:00 pm *NO HOT TUB USE FROM 10:00 PM TO 7:00 AM -Fireworks are not allowed within the community -All reservation cancelation policies, where we are the merchant of record, are subject to a loss of merchant fees.

93rd Birthday Celebration

This was the second time we have stayed here. The location, cleanliness, accessibility and amenities were all great! We did lots of sightseeing and it was fantastic to come back to such a wonderful house after a long day out and about.

Warm and welcoming

This home was lovely--warm and welcoming. Basic supplies were available, although we noted a few things we would like to see added, particularly a bread board and a bread knife! We were a group of six so we relocated two downstair chairs to the upper floor to make room for our party of six to hang out together in the living room. Gorgeous sweeping beaches nearby.

Peaceful

The property is beautiful. It’s so quiet and peaceful there. Well stocked and great for families. If you’re older, the stairs are challenging, plus high bed in master. But my older kids loved it and would enjoy staying there again. Personally, a tv in the master is appreciated. The one in the parlor not used due to uncomfortable seating.

It’s unfortunate to have to leave this review. We hosted Jody for the Hood to Coast Relay, and despite being fully aware of our clear rules regarding the maximum occupancy of 8 guests, she brought her entire 12-person team, significantly exceeding our limits. This not only violated the terms of our permit but also the rules of our private, gated community. Jody’s group disregarded our communication, violated the local noise ordinance, and caused disturbances by overloading the hot tub, resulting in property damage. After we kindly asked them to comply with the rules, they refused to cooperate, and communication was ignored both with us and VRBO. Additionally, they sabotaged the hot tub by putting soap in it, causing further damage. We prioritize the comfort and respect of all our guests and community, and unfortunately, this experience has put both at risk. We cannot recommend hosting this guest.
