Cozy A-frame with Sandy Beachfront - Stoneledge Lakehouse

Welcome to StoneLedge Lakehouse -- a cozy A-frame with an impressively large 70ft of sandy beach on a private all sports lake. Located just outside of the city of Cadillac and minutes away from the downtown district while retaining a peaceful and private getaway. The Area is well known for hiking, golf, lakes, walking trails, biking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing (Caberfae: 25mins and Crystal Mountain: 45 minutes) - perfect for all seasons!

We are here to make your stay feel like home - feel free to contact us with any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time in beautiful Northern Michigan!

Guests have access to the whole house during their stay. Please note the garage is not available for guests use.

The driveway can accommodate a about4 cars. Please note there is no parking at all on the grass as the septic field is located in the front yard and parking on it can damage the septic system.

This home has been well-kept and our goal is to surpass your expectations! The home is 1500 square feet and features 3 bedrooms:

- 1 king bed (Master Bedroom) with balcony
- 1 queen bed and twin bed
- 1 queen bed with two twin bunks (Bunk Room)
- Additional sleeping in the open loft with a twin trundle bed

Kitchen and dining room are stocked and ready to host. The home offers exceptional views though different rooms. There is great fishing off the dock. The views throughout the home speak for themselves.

* The home has a Ring Door bell located on the front of the home with a camera on it*

The dock is available from the end of May through the end of September.

Gteat house on the lake!

The house was as described, check in was easy. Hosts were great at getting back when messaged. We hand a wondeful stay. Would greatly recommend. We all said we found a lake that had fish! It was nice to catch one for a change.

Family gathering

Feb Ski trip!

Came to Cadillac for a weekend ski trip with our teenagers. Loved the cottage! It's about 25 mins from Caberfae but worked fine for us. The property is on a beautiful little lake and is a unique A-frame. Very cute. Only one minor thing that was a slight inconvenience - the drive hadn't been plowed in a bit so we had to do some shoveling to load/unload upon arrival and 4WD was a must to park in and out. BUT it is Michigan in winter so...Otherwise it was a lovely stay. The kids loved the bunk room and the loft. Danced and sang with the convenient Alexa. :) Coffee maker is spot on and we enjoyed the sunroom in the mornings. Communication with the host was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed to snowboard at caberfae, nice quiet lake property, lots of places to sleep, will definitely be back during the summer months to enjoy the scenery.

Not swimmable, but nice beach

We were extremely disappointed that the water in front of the cottage was not swimmable at all. There was an extremely small (4x6ft) that was ankle deep where we could step into the water but the rest was covered in lily pads and EXTREMELY mucky (to the point you sink 12 inches). However, there was a nice sandy beach area to build sand castles and lay out. The saving grace for us was the two kayaks. There was a row boat as well, but no oars. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect for our group. We had three couples (one with a 7 year old) and we each had our own area. There was plenty of living room space, a nice dining area for all of us, and the washing machine and dryer handy for our 9-day stay. The owners were very accommodating and kind when we had to add a few dates, however, a welcome book or guide to the cottage would have been nice just to know how to work the thermostat, the check-out procedures, etc.

Great little place!

This was a perfect set up for 3 families here visiting for a hockey tournament. Very comfortable and a nice, quiet area. Hosts were very accommodating, neighbors were friendly and close to downtown Cadillac. Would stay here again!

The house was the perfect size and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and was an awesome home base for our weekend of skiing at caberfae. Had pretty much every amenity and was one of the nicest places weve stayed at. Would love to stay here again next time around.

Quaint getaway on the lake

This lake front cabin is absolutely adorable. It has literally everything you could possibly need to make your stay away the best. It even had kayaks which was a lovely surprise. Lots of space for probably 10 people. I’m coming back next year for sure with more friends.

Enjoyable Stay

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. We were a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children (ranging from 2 years old to 7 years old). This home provided plenty of space for our group to sleep, relax, and have fun! The older children really loved the loft room. The sandy beach was perfect for playing, and we had excellent luck fishing all around the lake. It was wonderful to have lots of little extras provided throughout the rental like welcome goodies, dish soap, hand soap, new dish sponges, paper towel, etc. There were two kayaks, a rowboat, corn hole, extra life jackets and sand toys (although we had brought our own) for use in addition to a well-stocked game closet. The location is ideal - the road and neighborhood were very quiet. For our group, the lake was not great swimming: our older kiddos weren't comfortable swimming out into the lake past the vegetation/lily pads. However, there was a bit of sandy space to wade in and let younger kids splash before the lily pads. Kenwood Heritage Park (less than 10 minutes away) js great for school-age kids to swim in. Still, we loved Stone Ledge Lake for fishing and kayaking. It was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect to wade in. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and communication was great. The property was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We would return here without hesitation! 5 stars.

Relaxing cottage getaway

It was a comfortable cottage with lots of space for eating around the table and plenty of space for our family to play. We loved being able to have coffee on the deck and watch the kids play in the sand and fish off the dock. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake, swimming and fishing. My grandson had a lot of luck with the bass and bluegill’s. It was a beautiful lake to spend our vacation at and was close enough to Cadillac to run in for supplies or a night out. We would love to come back and stay. The owners were very nice and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Even left us a gift!

Relaxing Lake front Cottage

A great place for family to have a relaxing week. This cottage is perfect for a family with teens or as it gives everyone their own space and plenty of room to set and enjoy playing games and eating together. Don't forget your fishing pole and worms. Thanks again Jack for the stay.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat - Kid Friendly!

We loved our time here - the cabin has everything you need and was very clean. The beds were comfortable, lots of sleeping space, and plenty to do outside. Beach chairs, toys, and kayaks were provided and that kept our crew entertained. The kids also had fun fishing off the dock. It was easy to reach the host and he was very accommodating. Great choice for a family friendly getaway!

Quiet Retreat

This place is perfect for a family get away. Love the beach front. Whole house is very spacious and comfortable. Location is great. Each bedroom had privacy. You won't be disappointed.
