Thank you Marlita for your feedback on the Douglas condo. I apologize that you didn't feel like you could lay out on the balconies because of the construction next door. It is unfortunate that houses are being built continuously around the island and it can be disruptive during the week day hours. I do hope that you took advantage of this rental being ocean front and within a short walk to Johnny Mercer Pier, shops, and restaurants. We hope you will return in the near future with Bryant and the many rentals that we can offer that may better suit your needs.

Great to hear you had an enjoyable week at Wrightsville with your family, Willis! The Douglas home offers some great oceanfront views with plenty of people/surfer watching being so close to the pier. The beach access is steps away and having your own assigned parking is a huge plus especially in the busy summer season. I will make note of your comments and add to our owner suggestions file - we heavily rely on guest feedback so I appreciate yours! We are aware of some staining, they are bleach stains from a previous guest but the unit is regularly carpet cleaned. We look forward to you visiting the area again and hope to see you back at Douglas or another one of our many properties! Take care!

Connie, sorry to hear that your expectations were not met with your stay at Douglas. The home will be having many upgrades in the coming weeks and months, some of which have already happened like a new stainless refrigerator, new bedding, new pillows for the couch, and we will be installing new drapes in the bedrooms and living room very soon to replace those vertical blinds. The property manager is working closely with the homeowner on a number of other upgrades including new vinyl flooring likely installed after the Summer season. We halted our bed making due to COVID from guest feedback wanting their linens untouched but may restart this process soon. The housekeeping fee covers the cleaning cost, the linen rental, linen delivery and laundering, and all of the toiletries and amenities we provide, not just the clean. We are glad you enjoyed working with Kim, I will pass on your lovely note to her. We hope you will consider visiting Douglas again in the future - I'm sure you'll love the updates! Hey Joyce - thanks so much for the review and vote of confidence with our team! The slider has been repaired, but it went through a major overhaul at the vendor replacing all the hardware. This is much more expeditious and it also fixes the root of the problem that you encountered. Thanks again and we look forward to hosting you and your family again in the near future!!

The owner replaced all the mattresses in the property the week before you checked in. We understand everyone’s preference is different, it is difficult to find a mattress that will please everyone. The unit is located on a quiet residential street, and offers oceanfront views right next to the pier making for some excellent views and sunrises. We appreciate all of your feedback, and I will make note of it all to pass to the property owners to encourage additional improvements. As of 6/26 we placed two new frying pans and a tea pitcher in the unit, thank you for letting us know after you checked out! Rebecca- Thank you for your feedback, we are happy to hear the location was great for your week at the beach. We will be looking into beds mentioned along with the musty smell you encountered in the ground level foyer/laundry area and address accordingly. We are glad to hear your utilized the app, it has a lot of useful information pertaining to the area. Coupons are at the discretion of the business listed on the app whether to offer a coupon on their website which is linked back to our app, we will look into wording different to prevent confusion. We do however try our best to provide a small coupon to a local restaurant group we partner with in your check in packet and they also can be found in the lobby of our office while supplies last. As mentioned in our contract, we only provide a starter pack of toiletries consisting of 1 travel soap and shampoo/conditioner along with a roll of toilet paper. We greatly appreciate the feedback and hope you'll visit with us at the beach again soon!
