Merveilleusement situé. Un cadre vraiment magnifique.

Cette maison est à quelques pas du moulin du ruisseau et offre une grande cour privée avec un vaste mur de rochers et une cascade dans un étang à poissons. Il y a une nouvelle piscine creusée.
La maison spacieuse est idéale pour 10 personnes mais peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes si 4 personnes dorment sur les deux canapés-lits. Il y a 4 chambres à coucher. Chaque chambre a une reine mais dans la 4ème chambre à part la reine, vous trouverez également deux lits jumeaux. Il y a deux salles de bain complètes.
Le coin cuisine / salle à manger est ouvert avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur la cour et la cascade.
La maison a un lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse, télévision par câble, Internet, télévision à écran plat. Tous les draps sont fournis mais nous demandons à nos clients d'apporter leurs propres serviettes, produits en papier et savons.
Toutes les activités de plein air telles que la pêche, la baignade dans les lacs, la randonnée, le rafting sur la rivière Hudson, l'équitation sont à quelques minutes de nous.
Il y a 5 cabines sur la propriété qui partagent la piscine creusée mais elles sont plus éloignées du cadre de cette maison. Pendant les mois d'été de juillet et août, nous avons un minimum de 3 nuits. Idéal pour les grands groupes tels que les réunions de famille.
Nous ne vous demandons jamais de transférer de l'argent sur un compte bancaire. nous sommes mis en place avec un système de carte de crédit sécurisé. Nous sommes également configurés pour recevoir des paiements via PayPal et via Homeaway.

The space worked fine for our family of six adults and two children, plus dog for a long weekend. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the campfire - plenty of room to hang out and eat dinner together.

Property was ideal for location and size for Belleayre Mtn Snowmakers during their time that they assisted Gore Mtn in making snow. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely quaint home with comfy beds and lots of parking. Too bad we reserved during some cold days. Would have love to have jumped in the pool but the fire pit was great

Good place to stay for skiing. Extremely clean, but a little musty, due to the water quality in the area. Nothing can be done about it, and the convenience and care from the owner make up for it.

Great house. Great location.

This is our second time staying at this house and we love it! Makes for a perfect winter getaway with a clean, cozy house, great amenities, plenty of space, and it's a great location from Gore. We found everything to be as stated in the rental listing. Owner was flexible and helpful with making the arrangements and his associate was welcoming upon arrival. We definitely hope to return!

Plenty of room

Plenty of room for everyone in our family of 6 plus 2 bonus guests that showed up for a family reunion. The host welcome is wonderful and so are all the plants and the pool. The pool is shared with the other cabins, but we did not mind.

Great location

The house is located at great location. The property was as described, very nice and cozy. I give only 4 stars coz the beds were old and the couch there were to be bed was uncomfortable. And the pool area was so nice but the pool is not heated. Otherwise it’s awesome. The property manager was very frank and ready to help any time.

Charming & loved it!!

Our family had a wonderful time here!! After going on a little adventure for the day in the area we always were excited to go back to the house and have fun! It was perfect for our big family from 4 years old thru adult. We loved the property, fire pit and pool. The house was perfect. The kitchen is laid out so you feel like you are always interacting and apart of the family memory making. The rooms were always comfortable & clean. Sick was a wonderful caretaker. Very friendly and sweet. He always checked in on us to make sure we were all set with everything. Very welcoming & lovely. Loved it!

Great location and cozy house

The property was as described- very nice and cozy house. Location was great - close to mountain, hiking, horseback riding and Lake George. House was warm and had everything needed for Thanksgiving stay. Living area was big enough for 3 families with kids. I gave only 4 starts for cleanliness since the bedrooms needed more cleaning. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

Great Place

This place was perfect for our yearly family getaway. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children, the rooms were perfect and the rest of the house was relaxing and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, silverware and the such. The outside area was great, we had the fire pit, grilling/eating area to our self. Sitting by the fire and hearing the beautiful waterfall was so relaxing. Our welcome was great, Dick the care taker was so welcoming and checked on us mid weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. Pool area was shared but created a friendly atmosphere amongst all guests. I would definitely stay here again. Janet

Beautiful location

This home is set in a beautiful location. The pool is very nice and the home is not bad but out of date. The home was listed as having a hot tub which it does not and is not suitable for 14 people. We had 5 children and the couches that were to be beds were uncomfortable and 1 was damaged. The WiFI is spotty and service was very poor but your in the Mountains so that is to be expected. The kitchen has every thing you will need as far as pans, pots cutlery and dishes. There is plenty of seating in the dining are but not for leisure. Outside the fire pit is very nice. Plenty of seats and a nice picnic bench. The pond/waterfall is very relaxing. Dick Doux the caretaker while very helpful and quick to respond to any issues we had resides on the lower level of the home which we were not informed of previously. He was very friendly but we would have preferred a little more privacy. The location isn't too far out of Lake George, about 30 minutes, there is a few small stores to pick up some groceries a short drive from the home. While there were a few issues that we had it was overall a nice place to stay.

Gore Mountain Ski Trip

We are a family of seven and the home was more than accommodating enough for our large family. We had a fantastic time at the Sparrow's Nest and were thankful for Dick's gracious assistance. The setting is stunning and the home is extremely convenient to Gore Mountain if you are there to ski. We would absolutely stay again!

I have always loved the Great outdoors and my first drive to the Adirondacks and especially the Lake George area made me want to be more than an occasional visitor here.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is simply beautiful. The setting is ideal and I immediately felt at home when the realtor pulled into the driveway.
A walk on Washer Hill Rd next to this house which is adjacent to Mill Creek is just so peaceful and idyllic...I knew I would be here for a long time. The sound of the water is so relaxing. Then the trees surrounding the borders of this property are so high and smell so good. Some trees are over 500 years old. The gentle slopes of the property are just so visually pleasing.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Benefits include, senses reawakened, a feeling of relaxation which makes many people feel that although they came up to do all sorts of outdoor activities, just hanging around the property and walking to go fishing in the Mill Creek or just wading in the water or making a bonfire is most of the time satisfying in itself.
