Check in very easy. Communication with owner very quick with responses. They needed to fix a part on the grill and kept us informed and fixed it while we were there. The cabin was very clean. Bedding, blankets and towels all smelled fresh and clean. Beds very comfortable. There are three twin beds in the closet upstairs with frames that u can put in the other rooms. Kitchen stocked very well with appliances such as toaster oven, toaster, blender, air fryer, extra food storage containers, spices, paper towels and trash bags, cooking wear. There karaoke and arcade games were enjoyed daily by the kids and adults. Amazing outdoor set up around the hot tub. Also lite up walking path to fire pit that also had a great seating area and covered area. A great weekend with friends.

Perfect intimate wedding venue

My daughter wanted an intimate wedding. They had given me 5 places that they liked. When I saw the photos I was sold. With us & the brides living 3 hrs in opposite directions of the cabin, we had to rely heavily on communication & Scott was great. Upon arriving we were blown away. Photos honestly do not do this place justice. The lower level has so many options to keep anyone occupied. My sister & I took an hour break just to compete in shuffleboard & PacMan. We spent a delightful 4 days connecting & making lifelong memories. It honestly was beyond what I imagined for her special day. All guests were speechless when seeing it. Would definitely rent again!

Great memories

The property was beautiful and very clean. The home itself is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job decorating. It had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen had cooking supplies including minor appliances not just pots and pans. My family frequently gathered in the game room and it had ample seating and activities. All the bathrooms were stocked and the beds comfortable. My kids loved the coffee bar and smores. I loved that I could do laundry while there and not be behind upon returning home. The home has room to be together but also space if people want to group into smaller clusters separately. There were multiple fire pits and outdoor sitting areas to relax and visit with family. I did not get to get into the hot tub but it was clean too. I would absolutely stay here again and Scott was an attentive host who made sure we had a great time. As a matter of fact we loved it so much we all got lottery tickets saying " we need a house like this" to each other. (no big winners so we will just have to visit again)

We both grew up in Northeast Ohio and now reside in Strongsville Ohio. Our love of travel has included many stays in short term rentals which has revealed what makes a great experience that we can now pass on.

We also are the parents of two daughters, one who is extremely special needs. That life has given us great patience and understanding of others' situations. We know how important it is to be treated kindly, fairly, and like you are part of our own family.

As an adult we have camped here with the family in Tar Hollow State Park. Nestled in the heart of nature, this charming town boasts an array of captivating sights that will leave you in awe. From the rolling hills and lush green forests to the tranquil rivers and sparkling lakes, Chillicothe offers a diverse and captivating natural environment. Buying this cabin and allowing others to use it for events or large family gatherings was an easy choice. We get excited every time we have an upcoming guest because we are able to pass on all this beauty to others!
