The Shenandoah Suite-Appartement-Salle de bain privée

The Shenandoah Suite is located on the second floor of the house and is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that can accommodate up to 4 guests. Note: this is a multi-unit building, not a single family home. There are 4 other beautifully renovated Airbnb units here. Please keep in mind, we do not have full time staff on site. All guests will be asked to respect the space and be courteous of others by adhering to quiet hours from 10pm-7am.

LIVING ROOM: queen sleeper sofa, coffee table that lifts up to a dining table or desk, accent chair, dining space for 2

KITCHEN: stove, fridge, sink, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, electric kettle, french press, coffee maker (traditional drip), Keurig

DECK: private balcony deck located off of the kitchen with a bistro dining set for 2

BEDROOM: queen bed, nightstands with bedside lamps, dresser

BATHROOM: Single vanity, toilet, walk-in shower, toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion)

SHARED AMENITIES: EV charger, laundry room with washer and dryer

Other things to note:

- For the safety,, the property has 2 Ring security cameras capturing live video and audio of the front door entrance and the back parking area.

- This suite is located on the second floor of the house and is only accessible by staircase.

- Each guest is provided with 1 parking pass that gives them access to park on the street. Note that parking directly in front of the house is not reserved and you may find that you need to park a few houses farther down. We also have a small parking lot behind the house with very limited spaces. Lost parking passes will result in a 50 USD fine.

- This is NOT a pet-friendly/smoker friendly accommodation. Violations subject to $250 fine.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. Cozy, comfortable and just what we needed. The location also couldn't be beat - very short walking distance to the historic area theatre, groceries, shops, and restaurants. Access to TV streaming services was not achieved, but the accommodations were excellent. We hope to return!

As a frequent traveler to Staunton, this location has become my go-to for ease of access to everything the town has to offer. The decor and amenities are exactly what I need for a stress-free stay each time I am in town.

This was a perfect place to stay for a conference I attended at a nearby hotel. The privacy was excellent and the views were magnificent. The accommodations were within walking distance from everything I needed and provided a great opportunity to explore a truly unique city. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

The property was clean, in a great location (very walkable to downtown), the space was large and the balcony was lovely. We also appreciated a very well stocked kitchen. The only negative is that the bed was terribly uncomfortable. There was a crater in the memory foam mattress that made it lumpy and hard where the memory foam had broken down, and it hurt our necks and backs to sleep on it. If not for that, I’d give this a whole hearted 5/5, but unfortunately sleep is so important and a quality mattress is crucial to that.

I feel grateful and satisfied for clean and charming accomodations.

The building and rooms were spotless and well appointed in every sense with welcoming touches like snacks and candies. Easy to park, centrally located, nice view, firm-ish bed, fluffy towels, well decorated with cute things, but not too many cute things.

Lovely stay in downtown Staunton

We enjoyed our weekend in Staunton, made possible by Staunton Stays’ beautiful space. Accommodations were thoughtfully maintained, and the only flaw during our weekend was a lumpy mattress in the Shenandoah Suite, but otherwise highly recommend.

A peaceful retreat

Everything. The space was like a warm blanket wrapping you in comfort. The balcony overlooking Stanton was a place for journaling and devotions. It was an amazing weekend.

Our first time in Staunton and this place was walking distance to everything we wanted. We were a group that booked 4 rooms - everyone agreed this place was awesome. Only one small negative … our mattress was VERY firm.
