Our newly renovated cottage in Philadelphia is in the exciting and hip walking neighborhood of Manayunk.
Enjoy countless indoor and outdoor restaurants, walking along Main Street shops, biking, and hiking on local and nearby trails. Sit on the back patio and watch the happenings from above.

Private parking is free and safe, including NEMA 14-50 receptacle for your EV/plug-in hybrid. Bring your own plug-in device, please if you have a TESLA.


The space
This is a newly renovated old stone/brick house featuring ornamental ironwork gates.
The first floor has a living room and a powder room. On the second floor, you will find a fabulous new kitchen and dining area, bedroom, and luxurious bathroom.
Exit outside to enjoy a private flagstone patio and garden.

There is an air mattress and bedding for two additional guests.
Guest access
The whole house and private patio are available to you.

We have a coded, keyless entry to access the house, steps from your reserved outdoor parking space.

The front door is a four-step entry rise from the street-level sidewalk.

The back patio is a four-step rise from the backdoor.
Other things to note
There are many bike and hiking trails in and around Manayunk, including the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, the Schuylkill River Trail from Philadelphia to Phoenixville, and the Manayunk Towpath.
Bring your bike and comfortable hiking shoes.

A nice spot in a short term rental desert. Located close to everything we needed in East Falls, Manayunk, etc. Parking was super helpful.

Great Property, Great Location

The property was the perfect location for us to visit our daughter, walk around downtown Manayunk (so many wonderful restaurants), and easily take the train into the city. The property was spotless, had contactless entry, and was accurate to the listing. Free, easy parking on-site was a nice perk. Everything was also newly renovated and modern. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Our home away from home

This was our third stay at Shurs Lane. Our daughter lives in Manayunk and we always try to stay here when we visit. It is very clean, comfortable and convenient, especially with a private parking space! We love this place!

Amazing stay!

What a beautiful property! This modern space was perfect for my partner and I to visit the Manayunk neighborhood while working remotely. They had all the essential kitchen utensils, and we were able to easily charge our Tesla in the off-street parking! Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was lovely! It was a beautiful older home, but also had great modern features. I especially liked the varied artwork throughout the home. Heather was communicative and helpful. We like the neighborhood too!

Perfect!

The Shurs Lane Cottage is pretty much perfect - we'd like to live there! The location is great, and having dedicated parking is more important than you may think in Manayunk! The cottage is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches. Our only regret is not finding this gem sooner! If it's available, book it.

Lovely Cottage

This is such an adorable cottage about a 15 minute drive from Philadelphia Center City. Train station close by (15 min walk, 3 min drive) with free parking. Very comfy cottage with everything you need. Down blankets were so cozy. The bed and couch were also soo comfortable! Lots of coffee, tea, seasoning, all utensils needed for a family including children. Beautiful updated large bathroom. Lovely private shaded stone patio out back with seating areas and a grill. Free parking next to cottage. I can’t say enough good about this place!

Great location, easy access, needs new furniture!

Manayunk is a wonderful town outside of Philadelphia. A short Uber drive into the city for sightseeing worked best so we didn’t have to drive and park.I normally don't complain about furniture, but there wasn’t any comfortable place to sit, either too soft or too hard. I felt like Goldilocks! Lots of people like memory foam mattresses and my husband slept fine, but i was so uncomfortable that i had to take a blanket and pillow and sleep on the couch. Its not like i could ask for a different mattress!.if you're not
