Right At Home-Midland Clermont House w/ Pool and Billiards

Welcome to this spacious home with room for everybody, including privacy and common spaces both inside and out. The backyard features a pool that can be heated for an additional expense that is shallow size for volleyball and basketball. There's also a large grassy area for pets and of course a covered patio with pool table darts, and seating. In addition to the outside the home is just as spacious with two living rooms, an open concept for dining within the kitchen as well as five bedrooms there's smart TVs in all the rooms and main areas to enjoy.

the kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils, but there was dirty dishes in the oven and microwave, floors were really dirty, master bathtub was dirty and hair in it, the back yard was junky with dead bushes, trashn not upkept at all, the garage had an extra fridge which was nice but the garage is full of junk and just a total disaster.

Everything was functional. Rooms and climate conditions were comfortable. Spacious . Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Pool was refreshing and served its purpose. Made for a comfortable place for family members from Iowa and Virginia to converge for visit with family in Midland.

The home could be really really nice. Tons of maintenance needed from little things like light bulbs and toilet paper fixtures to range hood and paint (indoor and out) landscaping was all over grown and the pool needed to be vacuumed. Overall it was ok it seems as though it's not being properly taken care of.

Large home - lots of room for family

Great house for a larger family(5 of us) to stay and enjoy each other's company. The swimming pool and large backyard is a big bonus. Manager was quick to answer questions and flexible with our needs. Highly recommend staying here.

The house was wonderful. We had a little trouble with the AC that we did realize until late Saturday evening due to being at a Wedding all day. But the owner responded quickly and let us know what we needed to do. The home was very roomy and there was enough for everyone to do with the pool, darts and pool table.

Lots of potential

This house has so much potential, but needs lots of loving. We booked mainly for the pool table, hot tub, and darts but we’re unable to use any. The pool table had steak bones and limes all over and under from previous tenants, we cleaned that up.. there were not any darts to be able to use the dart board
 jacuzzi was dirty. There were also wasp nests outside
 spider webs in multiple rooms as well as spiders and beetles. One of the beds had bugs in the bed so a 5 bedroom home turned into a 3 bedroom, we ended up having to use the couches to sleep on. 12 people also had to share one shower due to plumbing issues leaving 1 restroom completely unusable. Layers of dust and webs on light fixtures in the kitchen as well. We also washed the sheets prior to using due to the smell they had. The house is beautiful, but you can see it is rarely really cleaned.

Nice space poorly maintained

Let's start with the positive. Plenty of space to spread out. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of plates, silverware, wine glasses, etc. We had 20 for dinner and no one felt crowded. The backyard was huge and the pool was great. The bedrooms that were additions to the home offered separation from the other three bedrooms. Unfortunately, these bedrooms were the only access points to the backyard. This made it a little difficult because the family members using these rooms were working during our stay. The house was not well maintained. The garbage disposal was not working and the host failed to fix it during our stay. The house was not ready when we arrived. We were not able to get in until 4:40...delaying our dinner plans with the family.

Wonderful home

Great home

We rented so we had a place to stay as we were in town for funeral and the normal family we stay with were out of room! This home is an older home with a lot of charm and was great for entertaining some family that stoped by to see us that wouldn’t be at the funeral. We were grateful for the family friendly environment with plenty of places for a large group to hang out! There was 8 of us that stay and total counting babies for dinner was 18.

Post Thanksgiving R&R

The home and outdoor area was spotless and beautifully furnished. And the Christmas tree was a pleasant surprise! The ease of reaching out to the host was seamless.
