Tanger Outlets San Marcos Step into our recently renovated, expansive three-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex, perched on the outskirts of town. Luxuriate in our bathrooms featuring lavish walk-in showers and LED mirrors. Enjoy lightning-fast internet accessible throughout the house and convenient USB-C fast charging outlets. The lower level welcomes you with a cozy living room adorned with a fireplace, a 65-inch smart TV offering your favorite streaming options and AirPlay, a kitchen, dining area, and a master bedroom with a large private bathroom and walk-in closet, complemented by an attached half bath. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms share a well-appointed bathroom. Venture into our expansive backyard, named "the jungle," and savor the blend of comfort, style, and nature that defines our Hill Country Haven. You'll have full access to the entire house, excluding the garage which is used for storage and cleaning supplies. No shared spaces. While you won't see us in person due to the convenience of self-check-in, rest assured that my cohosts and I are always within reach, ready to assist you promptly. Hill Country Haven offers more than just a comfortable stay—it immerses you in the vibrant tapestry of our charming neighborhood. Free TXST Shuttle anyone can use! A couple quick things to be transparent about that you should see before booking: This property is located in a college neighborhood, where you may hear noise at night from parties or barking dogs. The driveway is steep and can accommodate two vehicles on the upper half or up to four vehicles if they have enough clearance to drive all the way down. Hot water is limited and lasts about 15–20 minutes, so keep showers brief if others are waiting. During heavy rain, some parts of the driveway and walkway may experience flooding. San Marcos Home

The property was in good shape. Beds are very comfortable need more towels, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils/pots and pans. Ran out of toilet paper and paper towel towels need to supply the property better. Overall clean place would recommend for graduation football game, etc. close to school.

Disappointed

The house was very hot and the air conditioning was not able to cool it down. We rented this place to stay so we could attend our son’s graduation from Texas State. We would have left and stayed somewhere else but everything else was booked. There are some inaccuracies in the listing, too. There are only 2 bathrooms. No whirlpool spa (in the amenities list) and only one parking spot. It’s located in a crowded neighborhood of rental houses for students so there were people partying outside. (Probably because of graduation) The house is very cute and clean (love the layout and decor) but sadly very uncomfortable due to the heat. The owner communicated with us politely but did not resolve the issue. This is the first time I have written a poor review, but I’m disappointed because it kind of ruined our family time during an important event.

Hey Judy, Thanks for your feedback, just seeing this now. Sorry about the trouble you faced. I wanted to let you know that I updated the references in the listing, including the extra bathroom and the spa. Honestly, not sure how those got added in there. I also sent you a partial refund for the AC issue that you were having just now, and I’m sorry about that again. Regarding the neighborhood location, I added more details to the description, mentioning that it’s right next to the college, so it is indeed a college neighborhood. I’m glad you enjoyed the house.
