This was an amazing place and will definitely be staying here again. The beds were all comfortable, bathrooms were great and we loved the fire pit. The view was beautifuul, the lake was awesome and all the extras that this place offers was perfect.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay at White Tail Hideaway was absolutely amazing! The home itself is modern, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully laid out to accommodate everyone in our group. We especially appreciated the single-level design and easy access to the lake, which worked so well for our elderly parents. One of the highlights was having the boats available—our niece and nephew spent hours kayaking and exploring the lake, which created such special memories. The outdoor spaces were just as incredible: the spacious porch was a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee, the grill made mealtimes easy, and evenings around the bonfire pit were the perfect way to end the day. Inside, the house offered plenty of space for both kids and adults to spread out. The separate hangout areas gave the kids a place to play while the adults enjoyed their own time together. Everything was convenient, comfortable, and designed for a wonderful stay. White Tail Hideaway truly had something for everyone in our family, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

A Perfect Family Vacation

We could not have asked for any vacation more perfect for our family. The little ones loved the pier, the sandy beach and all of nature's creatures. The kayaks and paddle board were great for the older crew. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen, family room, well appointed bedrooms as well as the outdoor seating and fire pit. The visiting herd of deer was a pleasant surprise that the kids loved.

The accommodations exceeded our expectations

Clean, well stocked and plenty of room for my wife & me our 2 sons, 2 daughter in laws & 5 grandchildren to spread out in. They loved fishing, peddle boating, kayaking and rowing around the beautiful lake. We also played board games at night and had plenty of room for family meals together. We loved the raised outside deck and glassed porch. The grandchildren even got to feed carrots and blueberries to the wild deer.

We didn't want to leave!

My family has been vacationing in this Eagle River neighborhood for over 50 years. Now I'm the Grandma and I was lucky enough fo find this big, beautiful home where 4 generations of my family could spend a week at the lake together. The whole experience was just so comfortable! This house felt new and fresh, is well stocked & has everything we could dream of...gorgeous view, lovely kitchen, plenty of living area inside & out and enough sleeping space with good beds for everyone. We love quiet Dollar Lake for fishing & kayaking and the sandy shallow beach area is perfect for little swimmers. We didn't bother bringing our own boats and boards because we were able to use those at the house. Everything about vacation at this home was just so, so nice! I can't wait to go again next year.

Great place to stay

Overall, very nice place to vacation. Kids loved kayaking, paddle boards. The dee every morning. Only thing was you gave us the wrong directions according to the web sight. Also wrong house number. We finally found it. And the vacation started. Thanks great place.

Great Location and Space

We had a group of three families, six adults and five kids (all 3 and under). It was a perfect setup for all of us! We enjoyed the spacious house, beach, kayaks, paddle boat, fishing and bon fires. It was a great time!

Wonderful stay

We were a group of 11. The house was plenty big for all of us. The house was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough dinnerware for our big group and had plenty of pots/pans. The house location is perfect, we felt secluded on the lake but so close to town. We rented a pomtoon and boated on the chain but really enjoyed the kayaks, row boat, and paddle boat they had available at the house. We have been renting houses in northern WI for 10 years and this was our favorite one yet! Highly recommend.

Fast forward to 2020, Leslie and her husband Ryan purchased their Dollar Lake home and have created countless memories with their family and friends. Campfires, catching bass and bluegills off the pier, watching a dozen deer in their front yard and exploring all Eagle River has to offer has been the best adventure for their family. Since Dollar Lake isn’t their permanent home, they would like to share it with other families who can create their own memories in the Northwoods!
