Nice place to stay with a dog. Host was very responsive, we locked ourselves out one night at 12:30am, contacted the host and were back inside by 12:35am.

There were roaches which translates to bringing them home with me. I did not appreciate the interior staircase which was dangerous. Other than that we had a relaxing stay & that was our goal all along.

Great place in Jamaica Beach! It was perfect for our small family, and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Location was great. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the porch overlooking the canal, fishing and crabbing off the dock, and cooling off in the cowboy pool in the evenings. Highly recommend!

The house was very clean, the location was wonderful. We loved the little cowboy pool and fishing right of of the dock was fantastic; we caught several fish. The beds were comfortable with plenty of seating in the living area. The outdoor furniture was great!

We stayed here for Easter weekend and had a good time! The house is old and could use a facelift with a deep cleaning but it was very cute. The amenities (cowboy pool and foosball table in the game room) were nice and the kids loved it. We brought our dog who loved running around the fenced in yard and exploring the huge deck. I’d recommend bring fishing poles and renting some kayaks to fully enjoy everything this property has to offer too.
We also celebrated by daughters birthday there on Easter weekend. There is a restriction on how many people can be on property at any time day or night even if they aren’t staying (7 people) and no parties so just be aware of that before booking.

Check in went well but I was nervous about getting the code only an hour before check in. The kitchen did not have a dishwasher and there were not some basic cooking and cleaning items like dish towels, cutting boards and foil or plastic wrap. The hot water heater was leaking and was replaced while we were there but we didn’t have water for 4 hours. Part of the dock was damaged. We still enjoyed our time there. The bedroom air conditioning on the main floor was leaking some water.

We had a very pleasant time during the week we were there in September. Very comfortable accommodations and the hosts were exceptional! They checked up on us to ensure we were having a pleasant stay and that was very much appreciated! Would definitely stay at a Beach Box property again!!!

Great place to stay for our guys trip to Galveston. Plenty of outdoor seating and deck space. Enjoyed the fishing and just sitting on deck relaxing with a cold drink. Beds were comfortable and everything was provided. Our group will definitely be back again for a longer stay.

Perfect stay in Jamaica beach

Spotless, well-equipped with everything needed for a cozy getaway. Near the beach & RV park, something for everyone. Our favorite part was the covered area below on the canal plus having small pool for staying cool! We WILL be back!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE! The photos shown in the listing are a scam, as they do not properly reflect the current state of the house. I just submitted a report to Vrbo to ensure they cannot rent this out to future clients.When we arrived, the AC was leaking inside of the house, and leaking out under the house onto the carport, as well as into the pool! The furniture looks like it was taken out of a dumpster, with mold and stains on every piece in the house. All the AC registers and filters had rust and mold. The smell of the house was musty, so with the leaking AC, I guarantee you there is mold all throughout the house. All bathrooms and kitchen had scum and rust in sinks and tubs. Wallpaper falling off with drywall exposed, screws exposed on kitchen drawers...I can go on and on. Needless to say, we did not stay here, and turned back to our home. We messaged property management, and they said they would contact owner, but we never heard back, and received no refund.
