it was a nice, clean roomy home in a very quiet neighborhood, close to the lake and restaurants and entertainment. It was well stocked, the hot tub was relaxing, and the departure procedure was very simple. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse. We enjoyed eating outside at the picnic tables when the weather allowed. The game room made a nice gathering place for the 11 of us. We found the needs to be very comfortable. All-in-all, a great place to stay!

Great time in Michigan

This house was exactly what we needed for the weekend. It was nice to have to separate spaces with an additional space in the garage as well.

3 Generation Family Vacation

House was as advertised. The upstairs kitchen ended up being very useful for middle of the night bottle prep. From the house, it was 1.0 mile walk to the shops/restaurants downtown and 1.5 mile walk to South Beach. The garage made for a nice hangout space, including a chalkboard wall and a numerous pieces of colored chalk. They provided a welcome pack with laundry and dishwasher detergent as well as a kitchen fully stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, and leftover storage containers. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!!

Extended family holiday

House was very clean and located within walking distance to downtown and short ride to the beach (with chairs, etc.). Hot tub was enjoyable. Checkin instructions were thorough and communication was prompt. Really appreciated the area guide. The only negative was that we had to cut thru the downstairs main bedroom to access the upstairs (living room converted to a bedroom). There is a workaround to go out the front door and around the house on the street to the side door which was fine for us as adults in good weather but was not expected.

Great house in a great location

We enjoyed staying in this house for a multi-generational family vacation. It was very comfortable and in a great location. We were able to walk into town as well as the beach. I appreciated the updates from the management company about how to get into the house and also what we had to do when leaving. This is set up like a duplex but the only way to go upstairs is to go through one of the bedrooms downstairs which was tough if someone was already sleeping. We ended up going outside and around to the other door if we didn't want to disturb those who were sleeping in that bedroom. Overall though it was a great house and we enjoyed the games in the garage, the hot tub, the chairs on the front porch, and the picnic tables out front.

Great Family Home Close to Downtown

We had a group of 6 adults from ages 28-73 for three nights. The younger adults enjoyed having their own space upstairs with two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and small kitchen. We used the garage/game room a lot as well as the jacuzzi. We would absolutely book this home again. Helpful notes: The fridge has ice machine and water dispenser which saved us from buying both. There are not a lot of serving bowls or silverware. Small kitchen table with stools and not chairs. Fine for most but could be a challenge for some. Love the PacMan arcade games in both living rooms! The main living room does not have a lot of seating for adults. We could not all gather together comfortably. Beds were comfortable. We are tv watchers and would have loved basic cable. They have Roku. It was a two minute drive to downtown or to Meijer for supplies. Very convenient location.
