Classic Palm Springs style and comfort! Enjoy our perfectly appointed getaway just a few minutes drive from downtown Palm Springs. Mountain views, poolside lounging, indoor/outdoor living, and stylish modern vibes - it has everything you need to enjoy a life of desert leisure.
The house:
Our home is made for indoor-outdoor living! The backyard features a pool, grill, and outdoor lounge and dining spaces - including a great view of the mountains. All this is conveniently located off the interior open floor-plan great room, which includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, dry bar with wine fridge (pre-dinner cocktail hour, anyone?), and living room. The wraparound patio offers shaded garden views and outdoor seating areas off of each bedroom - each with their own sliding door to the outside - a perfect place to wake up with your coffee and watch the hummingbirds. 32" Roku TVs and luxe memory foam mattresses in every bedroom. Sonos wireless speakers, Hulu, and Netflix for your entertainment. Stylish mid-century interiors and charming desert touches. We have a great time every time we visit our Palm Springs home, and we know you will too!
Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available upon request for $60/day.
Parking:
There is one garage space, one driveway parking space, and free street parking in front of the home.
Other notes:
Rental agreement is required by The City of Palm Springs and will be emailed after reservation is confirmed. This must be returned and signed by or at check-in. Only 6 guests and 3 cars are allowed, with the daytime max for visitors being 10. Main guest must be 25 or older to sign the agreement and provide photo ID. Main guest must also be present at the property for the duration of the stay. The city has also banned any outdoor amplified music, so no speakers of any kind are allowed outdoors (aka no pool parties!). Even indoor music should not be audible at the fence line. PS has a dedicated line for neighbors to call and complain, and violators get a hefty ticket. Our neighbors are great and we have not had any problems with noisy renters, but please be aware that Palm Springs takes its quiet neighborhood vibes seriously!

Guests have access to the entire house, attached garage, and front & back yard.
Enhanced cleaning & service protocols: the house will be deep-cleaned prior to your check-in, with high-touch surfaces sanitized.
Pool:
Please note that the pool is unheated unless you pay the $60/day pool heating fee. When I first started coming to PS, I thought prices on Airbnbs for this (anywhere from 40-70/day) seemed steep. Now I understand - desert temps drop sharply overnight, cooling swimming pools down dramatically. In the summer (June-Sep) you won't need the heater (unless you really want to get in first thing in the morning) but in the rest of the year I recommend it.
Hector, our wonderful pool service person, comes to clean the pool on Monday and Thursday mornings. He arrives early (before 7:30am!) and comes through the side gate; it shouldn't interrupt your stay in any way but if you see the guy in the hat with a big vacuum tube, that's him!
The gardeners come every other week, usually Fridays. They are efficient and unobtrusive, but if you'd like to ensure that they won't be there during your visit, please let me know.
