This little cabin was just right for me and my fiancé—like Goldilocks-level perfect. It had all the cozy vibes with a sleek, modern twist thanks to the new appliances.We didn’t get to take full advantage of all the fun stuff—like the fire pit, sports court, and that dreamy second-story balcony—but trust me, we wanted to. We’re already planning a longer stay next time just to soak it all in.If you’re headed to Lake Martin, do yourself a favor and book this spot. It’s a hidden gem!

Extremely nice and well kept lake cabin with all the modern amenities. Very peaceful and quiet wooded environment with great lake views. My wife and I stayed here for a quiet getaway weekend. The hosts are very nice and quick to communicate. I highly recommend this cabin.

Night at the Barn

The Barn was the perfect place to get away for the night. The clean, cozy interior is perfect for a couple, and if you like to be outside, it is tucked away at the edge of the forest with an elevated deck and a shady hangout below. Either is perfect for sipping a glass of wine and gazing down at the lake.

Phenomenal to say the least!

Absolutely beautiful, cozy place. Met owners as they were checking on a second property they own. Extremely nice and helpful people. Very easy to book and deal with property manager as well. Would defiantly book a future getaway.

Beautiful place

If you’re coming to lake Martin as a couple, very nice place to stay. Looks very new and very clean. There are a set of stairs to climb if you are older.

Weekend Trip

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip with our youngest son before we dropped him off for camp. It was a very pleasant stay and the host was incredibly generous. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wedding Guest Weekend

I stayed at The Red Barn for a weekend wedding at Marsgate. I would go as far as to exceed 5 stars and give it a 10. As a solo staying there it was perfect. Jenny had the temperature perfect when I arrived. Wonderful tips for my stay and I must say coffee on the deck with the sounds of the woods and lake were serene. Wish my stay could have been longer. Thank You Jenny!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Located right near the lake, this place was perfect for our weekend getaway! And the view of Lake Martin was absolutely breathtaking! To say The Barn at Grateful Cove surpassed our expectations, would definitely be an understatement. The house was immaculate, and we were very impressed by the host’s attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need or want was provided. Jenny was also super responsive, friendly, and helpful! We are already looking at dates for a return visit.

Perfect!

My son and I stayed here while riding our dirt bikes at Monster Mountain. Beautiful and peaceful place. Hope to make it back again this year. Only downsize is that it is a small place. If you have more than 3 people, look elsewhere.

This is a cozy little place with attention to detail. The hosts really took the time to think about what a renter may need and had little extras as well.
