Hey Rick I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied. I am surprised to hear these complaints after your stay has ended, as I would have been happy to remedy these concerns during your stay had you communicated them. The carpet gets steam cleaned every three months in order to uphold a certain cleanliness standard. It is not advertised anywhere in my listing that it would be stocked with groceries for cooking as that does not fall under the responsibilities of a host. I can verify the property is stocked with all the essentials but nothing elaborate that you may have otherwise picked up at the grocery store. There are extra chairs visible in the photos and at the property for up to 8 guests to sit at the kitchen table.

I am very surprised to read such a poor review from this guest. He references several issues that he was directly responsible for. I do take accountability for the issue with the stove but within an hour I had personally arrived at the property and provided a functioning replacement. I received a complaint of a toilet blockage which I personally tended to immediately as well. As for the scorpion inside, this was a direct result of the fact that both the front door and back door were left open by the guest for hours (which I'm guessing was an effort to minimize the pungent smell from their cooking which lingered long after their stay).  I personally tended to a plethora of demands but after third or fourth complaint from this guest I started to get the feeling that there was an ulterior motive for the incessant complaints which was that they were angling to get a discount. I have been hosting for years and I pride myself on being accessible and accommodating to my guests. This is the most damaging and unwarranted review I have ever received.
