This is a historic 3/2 with a back patio and a screened in, outdoor cooking and dining area. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, which is also very walkable. It is less than a mile from many restaurants, a Publix and a Starbucks. This house is close to many central Florida attractions: Disney - 39 miles, Legoland - 20 miles, Downtown Orlando - 50 miles. It is about an hour and a half from some of the best beaches in Florida, including Clearwater and St. Pete

Another wonderful stay

We stayed here last year and loved it then, loved it again. Spacious and has everything we need, within walking distance of a Publix shopping center. The host is very responsive. Will definitely stay here again next year if it is available.

Family Vacation in Lakeland

Very nice and clean rental. It came well stocked with amenities and has everything you need for a short to extended stay. Was very convenient to all shopping and activities in the Lakeland area. Thanks to the host for a nice cozy place to stay.

Guys Golf and Baseball Trip

Great house. Lots of charm and character, in a quiet community. Convenient to everything in Lakeland that vacationers would need. Owners have gone all out to furnish house with every amenity. Plan to go back here next year.

This house has an old, comfortable, very familiar vibe - like staying at Grandma's house. Unfortunately, it also has an old smell. Nice neighborhood, though, and I loved having a washer and dryer.

Great location for events downtown

Nice neighborhood close to RESTURANT’s and shopping. Only stayed two nights it was comfortable for us and our two older pups. Only negative has kitchen pots and pans needed a good washing or replacement and bathroom shower tile very moldy. We had no other issues and enjoyed our stay.

Charming

Cute 1920s bungalow, we came to town for Little League Allstars State championship game weekend. We mainly were at the ball fields during the day, but enjoyed the evenings in a nice quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the Instructions book. Thank you

Great house for family.

Family trip to say goodbye to a brother who was in hospice. He passed away on our check out day. This house was very close to my brother so it was a blessing to have found it. We were hardly there but it was a lovely and comfortable house that met our needs.

Visiting my Hometown Lakeland

In my opinion the house is even better than the photos! My Fiancé and I (and our dog) took a trip to Lakeland to visit family and had a wonderful stay at this house. The location is so close to Publix, Starbucks, shopping/antiquing, restaurants (you name it), yet the house is tucked away in the neighborhood so you hardly hear any noise. The condition of the house was wonderful and the AC worked great (sometimes a problem in older houses). We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor kitchen but it was well stocked and seemed perfect for grilling- it's even screened in so you don't need to worry about mosquitos in summertime. We would love to stay here again and plan to do so in the future.

Not elderly friendly

P property fine, however, the outdoor steps are uneven and needs a handrail. I fell and fractured my elbow.

I was so sorry to hear when you texted me to tell me that your mother had fallen and hurt herself. I went by the house today to inspect the stairs. I did find that there was a 1/2 inch unevenness between the top stair and the porch deck. Because the stairs are otherwise in sturdy and good condition, I will be adding a handrail as you suggested.

Stay was fine.

House was fine just not clean. Got told cleaners were running late and that was fine cause so was i, but with them coming late i thought house was going to be spick and span but sheets on master were not cleaned (had leftover hair) towels in master were not cleaned (dirty stains) and seen a few pest (cockroaches). Other than those few the stay was fine.

I am sorry to hear that the house was not as clean as it should be. I will defiantly talk to my cleaners and keep a close eye on the cleaning going forward. I will also go and spray for roaches and set some bait stations after the next guest leaves. Thank you for letting me know about these issues.

King bedroom, bed was so high I had to take chair from dinning room so I could get in it. Have a bad hip so was not easy. My granddaughter scrubbed the bathroom walls down. Was something running down walls. I scrubbed down the dinning room wall. Pop had been sprayed on the wall, and never cleaned. We did like the location. Was very convenient to everything. Dog poop was left in the back yard. Stepped in it several times.
