Our Reserved Condo was canceled, but Host came up with alternative
This review is really just of the host, Dmitri, who manages this condo and several other properties in the area. We could NOT review this Beachwalk condo itself, as we did not stay there. We were booked in this Beachwalk condo for a 9 night stay in March, 2024. About 3 weeks before arrival, the Host, Dmitri, called to say this condo we had reserved and paid for was no longer available. The condo owner had decided to withdraw it due to a change in his plans outside of his control. Dmitri offered instead a similar condo on the top floor of the Sian Residences property, a property directly on the beach. The hitch -- it was only available for 7 nights, not the 9 nights we had reserved, so we would have to find another place for our last two nights. Because the Sian was more expensive per night, the total price for 7 nights was was the same as 9 nights at the Sian. Dmitri refunded us $300 (out of his commission, he said) which partially covered our hotel cost elsewhere for the two last nights. So we give a very good rating for our host Dmitri for working out an alternative, but beware that the owner of this particular Beachwalk condo lives in it himself much of the time so you risk having your vacation cancelled on short notice.
