Cet appartement est parfait pour des vacances romantiques ou en famille S'évader dans le magnifique sud-ouest du Michigan (canton de Saugatuck / Fennville). Vous cherchez un appartement 1 chambre pouvant accueillir confortablement 4 adultes. Avec un trÚs grand lit et un canapé-lit, il y a beaucoup de place pour la famille ou les amis. L'appartement comprend une cuisine entiÚrement meublée et une trÚs grande salle de bain complÚte avec une baignoire-douche combinée. Avec une vue magnifique sur la riviÚre Kalamazoo, vous ne voudrez plus jamais partir! Nous sommes situés à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Saugatuck, Douglas et Fennville. Les trois villes sont connues pour leurs boutiques, ainsi que le célÚbre festival vénitien, les feux d'artifice du 4 juillet, le festival de l'oie, les festivals d'art, l'art dans le parc, le goût de Saugatuck et la liste continue. Si vous conduisez à quelques kilomÚtres au nord, vous pouvez visiter la belle Hollande, célÚbre pour le festival des tulipes. Et à quelques kilomÚtres au sud de South Haven, célÚbre pour le Waterfront Film Festival. Il n'y a pas de pénurie de galeries d'art, de restaurants cinq étoiles, de shopping, de belles plages de sable / rivage, de canoë et de kayak, de randonnée, etc.

Nous sommes Ă  quelques minutes de la belle cave de Fennvalley, de l'usine de cidre Virtue, de Saugatuck Brewing Company, de Star Of Saugatuck Boat Cruises, de Dune Schooner Rides et de The Duck (un vĂ©hicule amphibie de la Seconde Guerre mondiale qui propose des visites de Saugatuck et de la riviĂšre Kalamazoo). Comptez sur quelque chose de spectaculaire qui se passe Ă  tout moment. Il n'y a jamais de pĂ©nurie de choses Ă  faire. Renseignez-vous Ă©galement sur les parcs d'État environnants!

Great little getaway

We had a great experience with this rental on the Kalamazoo river. It’s very private, clean, and came with everything we needed. We unfortunately came during a time where there was construction on the roads, but that was no blame to the owners. I am sure they are paved and even better now.

Lovely home away from home!

A great location near Douglas, Saugatuck, South Haven, and Holland. I appreciated the backroads to quickly get everywhere that were so nice and made for serene drives past fields and trees. Very picturesque property overlooking the river. Stayed here with my senior dog and we both felt at home. Comfortable bed with plenty of extra linens, and comfy couches, too! I appreciated the cleanliness, and the parking space, as well. Self check-in was easy, and communication with the owners was great! I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Beautiful Escape

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The apartment was clean, well furnished, and had plenty of room. The view of the Kalamazoo River was beauriful! The sunset over the river was spectacular! The location was perfect for trips to Douglas, Saugatuck and Holland. I definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet and beautiful get away!

Perfect weekend getaway!

If you are looking for a secluded, beautiful, clean and private getaway that’s 7 minutes from restaurants and bars, then this place is perfect for you. It’s on a gorgeous piece of property on the Kalamazoo River but within minutes of Saugatuck and Douglass. Just the perfect location. The apartment was roomy, clean and well taken care of. We slept like babies! Sara and her husband were awesome. She was super responsive and helpful when we had a question. My husband and I highly recommend!!

Personable and Quaint

Sara is great host—considerate, easeful, and responsive. She provided timely and personalized recommendations as well as small items that we didn’t bring for ourselves like condiments and coffee when asked. Like other reviews mentioned, this space is above the family garage and close to the main family home. We enjoyed meeting her dog and chatting with some family members. But as a group of 3 adult women, we had to be mindful of our conversations and volume due to the proximity. We also visited during a heat wave and the in window air conditioning unit in the bedroom wasn’t powerful enough to substantially cool the living space. As the weather cooled, the fans and open windows provide a luscious enjoyable breeze.

Great place

Had a great stay at this place! It was private and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect and the view of the river is lovely. The host was great and communicated very clearly and early. Glad we were able to find this place. Our five year old son really enjoyed the space as well. He mentioned that he thought the shower was nice and roomy haha :) I would stay again!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Sarah’s place is perfectly situated in a picturesque setting overlooking the river. Very cute apartment with lots of privacy and close to downtown Saugatuck. Perfect escape from suburbia!

Fennville trip review

Check in process was easy overall. Nice remote location with short drive to saugutuck and Douglas. Apartment was clean although we did not realize how close it was in proximity to homeowners house.

This was the perfect little escape from the everyday. Really gorgeous surroundings, I felt like I was much farther from home than I was, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The apartment is well maintained and has an inviting dĂ©cor. Very close to both Saugatuck and Douglas downtowns but off the main roads, giving it that “get-a-way” feel. Perfect size for solo travelers, couples and small families.

Wonderful getaway close to Saugatuck!

Our stay at sarah’s was great. The apartment is really charming and very comfortable for a long weekend. We thought the location was perfect - you’re a 10 minute drive from saugatuck, so close, but you’re removed enough that it’s calm and sirene. Sarah’s place was kid friendly (we came with our 8 month old). Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

The perfect mix of being close to everything we needed and distance from the hustle and bustle

We loved the views and the property so much. Larger than it appeared in the pics and very clean. My kids had plenty of space to run around on the property. Had the feeling of being far from the busy roads and towns yet it was only minutes to the beach, restaurants, shops, grocery, etc. a short drive to other places to explore like south haven and Holland.

Lovely scenic visit

Such a comfortable and spacious little apartment, set off the beaten path, but still within a very short drive to Saugatuck and Douglas. The property was beautiful! My husband and I loved that we could put our 3 year old to bed early in a separate room and still be able to talk, play games or watch tv without worrying about disturbing him. It was nice to be in a more home-like setting for our first real vacation away with him, and especially nice that we could do a few loads of laundry! Sara was extremely quick to reply to the questions I had ahead of our stay. This was our first home rental experience and we'll definitely try it again for future vacations!

Quiet getaway in a conveniently remote location.

My partner I simply loved the location. The property itself was very nice and Sara and her husband were both readily available when we had some questions. It's location is scenic to say the least, and we found the drives to Saugatuck/Douglas( she shopped for art) and Fennville(Salt of the Earth..good eats) to be much shorter than anticipated.
