Cet appartement est parfait pour des vacances romantiques ou en famille S'évader dans le magnifique sud-ouest du Michigan (canton de Saugatuck / Fennville). Vous cherchez un appartement 1 chambre pouvant accueillir confortablement 4 adultes. Avec un très grand lit et un canapé-lit, il y a beaucoup de place pour la famille ou les amis. L'appartement comprend une cuisine entièrement meublée et une très grande salle de bain complète avec une baignoire-douche combinée. Avec une vue magnifique sur la rivière Kalamazoo, vous ne voudrez plus jamais partir! Nous sommes situés à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Saugatuck, Douglas et Fennville. Les trois villes sont connues pour leurs boutiques, ainsi que le célèbre festival vénitien, les feux d'artifice du 4 juillet, le festival de l'oie, les festivals d'art, l'art dans le parc, le goût de Saugatuck et la liste continue. Si vous conduisez à quelques kilomètres au nord, vous pouvez visiter la belle Hollande, célèbre pour le festival des tulipes. Et à quelques kilomètres au sud de South Haven, célèbre pour le Waterfront Film Festival. Il n'y a pas de pénurie de galeries d'art, de restaurants cinq étoiles, de shopping, de belles plages de sable / rivage, de canoë et de kayak, de randonnée, etc.

Nous sommes à quelques minutes de la belle cave de Fennvalley, de l'usine de cidre Virtue, de Saugatuck Brewing Company, de Star Of Saugatuck Boat Cruises, de Dune Schooner Rides et de The Duck (un véhicule amphibie de la Seconde Guerre mondiale qui propose des visites de Saugatuck et de la rivière Kalamazoo). Comptez sur quelque chose de spectaculaire qui se passe à tout moment. Il n'y a jamais de pénurie de choses à faire. Renseignez-vous également sur les parcs d'État environnants!

De plus, pendant les mois d'été, nous avons un très grand jardin sur le terrain que nous encourageons nos clients à utiliser.

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The couch was cozy enough for two, and provided a nice spot to put up our feet after our long drive. The bed was even better and gave us what felt like the best sleep of our entire summer! We loved looking out each of the windows of the property as each provided its own unique view of the property and tree-filled clear skies. The location is a short drive away from some of our Michigan favorites (Crane’s! Lyon’s Fruit Market! Beaches!), too! We’d highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone staying in the area. We’ll be back ourselves and can’t wait!

My husband and I were vacationing in Saugatuck but didn't want to be right in the city with our 17 month old. This location was perfect. Fifteen minute drive to Oval beach, 10-minute (or less) drive to downtown Saugatuck. Apartment had everything we needed. Bedroom fit a Graco Pack N' Play just fine. We were able to put our son to bed and enjoy the evening to ourselves in the living room. Specific to me, the floors and doors were not creaky AT ALL. Perfect for sneaking into the room when our son was sleeping!There was ice cube trays in the fridge, but other than that you need to bring EVERYTHING you want to cook with. All utensils are there, but no food items what-so-ever (which I liked because I'm not using someone elses butter).Blackout curtains in the living room, but not in the bedroom. Wifi was a bit spotty and didn't work well when my husband and I were both attached and our son was watching a show while getting ready for the day.Overall, a pleasant experience!

Great little getaway

We had a great experience with this rental on the Kalamazoo river. It’s very private, clean, and came with everything we needed. We unfortunately came during a time where there was construction on the roads, but that was no blame to the owners. I am sure they are paved and even better now.

Quiet and Scenic area

The Apartment was very nice. It was nice to be able to park in the garage. Located just a few miles from Saugatuck/Douglas, many very good restaurants to choose from. Also, a wide variety of shops. Fennville winery and Virtue hard cider and Saugatuck brewery are just a few miles away. Very quiet and senic area.

Lovely home away from home!

A great location near Douglas, Saugatuck, South Haven, and Holland. I appreciated the backroads to quickly get everywhere that were so nice and made for serene drives past fields and trees. Very picturesque property overlooking the river. Stayed here with my senior dog and we both felt at home. Comfortable bed with plenty of extra linens, and comfy couches, too! I appreciated the cleanliness, and the parking space, as well. Self check-in was easy, and communication with the owners was great! I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

The description of “private and secluded” is not accurate. There is no private outdoor space. Internet connection was so poor that I couldn’t use my laptop or stream a movie. The unit itself was very nice, comfortable, and cozy and the bed was great. Owner let us use their grill to cook steaks.

Beautiful Escape

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The apartment was clean, well furnished, and had plenty of room. The view of the Kalamazoo River was beauriful! The sunset over the river was spectacular! The location was perfect for trips to Douglas, Saugatuck and Holland. I definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet and beautiful get away!

Perfect weekend getaway!

If you are looking for a secluded, beautiful, clean and private getaway that’s 7 minutes from restaurants and bars, then this place is perfect for you. It’s on a gorgeous piece of property on the Kalamazoo River but within minutes of Saugatuck and Douglass. Just the perfect location. The apartment was roomy, clean and well taken care of. We slept like babies! Sara and her husband were awesome. She was super responsive and helpful when we had a question. My husband and I highly recommend!!

Personable and Quaint

Sara is great host—considerate, easeful, and responsive. She provided timely and personalized recommendations as well as small items that we didn’t bring for ourselves like condiments and coffee when asked. Like other reviews mentioned, this space is above the family garage and close to the main family home. We enjoyed meeting her dog and chatting with some family members. But as a group of 3 adult women, we had to be mindful of our conversations and volume due to the proximity. We also visited during a heat wave and the in window air conditioning unit in the bedroom wasn’t powerful enough to substantially cool the living space. As the weather cooled, the fans and open windows provide a luscious enjoyable breeze.

Great place

Had a great stay at this place! It was private and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect and the view of the river is lovely. The host was great and communicated very clearly and early. Glad we were able to find this place. Our five year old son really enjoyed the space as well. He mentioned that he thought the shower was nice and roomy haha :) I would stay again!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Sarah’s place is perfectly situated in a picturesque setting overlooking the river. Very cute apartment with lots of privacy and close to downtown Saugatuck. Perfect escape from suburbia!

Fennville trip review

Check in process was easy overall. Nice remote location with short drive to saugutuck and Douglas. Apartment was clean although we did not realize how close it was in proximity to homeowners house.

Perfect few days away!

This was the perfect little escape from the everyday. Really gorgeous surroundings, I felt like I was much farther from home than I was, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The apartment is well maintained and has an inviting décor. Very close to both Saugatuck and Douglas downtowns but off the main roads, giving it that “get-a-way” feel. Perfect size for solo travelers, couples and small families.
