Main Level: Cozy open-plan living and dining with ocean views, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen (stainless steel, granite, beverage bar), and a relaxing den with Smart TV and sound bar — perfect for movies or sports.

Upstairs: The primary suite features a king bed, oceanfront balcony access, and a luxurious ensuite with double sinks and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms — one queen, one bunk/trundle — share a full bath, making it ideal for families or friends. Coffee station and seating area on second floor.

The location was absolutely perfect with stunning views! The calming sound of the ocean while watching the sun rise right from bed was lovely. The house was very cozy and homey, decorated with a beach feel and a Christmas touch. We brought our bikes and were able to ride down to so many trails at the nature preserve right from the house. Kelly was a great host who was both kind and super responsive. She gave us great tips for restaurant options which we definitely used
. Cap’s on the Water was our favorite! It was only 15 minutes into St Augustine for night of lights while getting to stay where it was peaceful and calm. Our dog felt right at home. We also appreciated that you could close the front gate for added privacy. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Wonderful location, awesome back yard overlooking the beach. Stayed during the week and it felt like a private beach, very few others in front of the house. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Owner decorated for our special occasion which was above and beyond!

The Blue Gem was very clean, and stacked completely with everything you need!Of course we brought a lot of our own supplies. It is also Pet Friendly which we truly appreciated! The location is close to good restaurants and stores,but still a very private beach! We even found a wonderful Church to go to on Sunday! D. & J. Sleete

Check in was a breeze. Kitchen is "tight"y but mighty!! Loved having two sitting rooms convenient to the kitchen. The convenience of the house to the beach (and the view!) is worth every penny. All the beach accoutrements you could need. Great place!!

Another awesome stay at the Blue Gem

Great view, firepit, clean, plenty of room, nice beach. Everything you need for a great vacation. Eastern sky is pretty dark too, if you are into astro photograpy.

Beautiful little edge of the beach

Nice little house, right on the beach. Everything was very nicely set up and made available to us on arrival. Communication before and during was great and we very much enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well kept and the outside had nice and easy access to the beach. Thank you so much!

Awesome Property

We stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The property was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The entire yard is fenced, so our dog was safe and able to enjoy being off leash. The firepit was a great feature, especially in the evening with the ocean breeze. The grill worked perfectly and even had a full tank of propane, with a spare ready just in case. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the owners was easy and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location for some quiet R&R

We had a wonderful vacation at this property! The hosts were awesome and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The home was perfect for us as it was right on the beach! The property was as described and VERY clean! We loved the fire pit right there by the ocean! So relaxing! The only "issue" was getting to the beach from the steps. Erosion made it difficult to navigate. It was obvious the hosts had attempted to make improvements by building up the sand at the steps but Mother Nature was already breaking down the sand. My spouse - who has mobility issues - was unable to actually get down to the beach because of the erosion. Thankfully the view was incredible so she was able to enjoy the ocean without actually going down to the beach. I will note other properties near them had the same issue so it wasn't just this property. And some were even worse than this property! Doggie Parents: The property is welcoming of doggies and the beach is dog friendly (on leash). However, finding a place to take the dog to do his "business" was difficult as there isn't any flat, grassy areas on the property. We walked the dog along the street which was very busy with fast moving vehicles. Waze User? When navigating to the Vilano/St. Augustine area from the property, ignore what Waze says! LOL! Turn LEFT out of the property! Only takes about 10 minutes to get the Publix at Vilano. Waze always wanted us to turn right which takes a lot longer!

Exquisite property

The perfect beach getaway for a family of seven plus a dog. Not too far from town but far enough to feel like you are getting away. The view is amazing. House is beautifully decorated. Has everything one could need, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, a cute dog area outside, dog toys, children’s toys, books, games, etc. we loved our stay.

Cabana

The place was like a little cozy Cuban cabana. The price of $600 per night dBeach is 100 yards from the back door is a plus but cars going 60mph back and forth all night is a minus. Pictures on rental advertisements are inaccurate. It is an older home with aged exterior and much smaller than pictures depict.

Wonderful Beach House!!!!

Our family of 7+ (2 parents, 2 grandparents and triplet 14 year olds plus our dog) really enjoyed staying at Blue Gem! The house was clean and well maintained. We LOVED the screened in porch, fire pit, and super easy beach access. It was also super awesome to have the entire property fenced and gated so our pup could roam free! Great management with quick and easy communication and response. We were missing some pans during our stay and communicated that with the management team who quickly (same day) dropped off boxes of new pans!!! The only downside of the entire house was the master bed mattress... way too soft and needs to be replaced. Other than that, a true 5 star experience! We will be back!!!
