Butterfly Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a views of Lake Ola from the living room and front bedroom. The home is filled with charm & character of the 50's&60's. I bought the home 2 years ago from the original owner who lived and raised her family there for over 60 years! I knew the home had to be someplace special and it certainly is! I chose to keep the floorpan and restore the integrity of the home by adding luxury vinyl flooring throughout and refinishing/updating the bathrooms. The cabinets in the kitchen are original cedar. I had them painted Jadeite color, a popular glass color used during that time. I believe every home has a story to tell and I love to bring that story to life! My daughter & I enjoyed living there so much! One of my favorite things was waking up to enjoy coffee in the living room chair while looking at Lake Ola & listening to the songbirds & wind chimes. The sunroom with the Tennessee stone fireplace was the room I fell in love with the most. I enjoyed many afternoon naps on that gold couch. That's where I noticed all the butterflies surrounding the gorgeous backyard. Hence the name of the home that I am thrilled to offer to travelers in and outside of Mount Dora. It’s in a perfect location only a 7 min drive to historic downtown Mount Dora. Close to Renningers, The Sydonie Mansion & many other wedding venues! Quick drive to Rock Springs, Wekiva Island & close to the 429 making it an easy commute to all of central Florida including the theme parks and the beaches!
