The house was exactly as described and in a great location. We could easily walk to downtown, the beach, and Perkins Cove, but the neighborhood itself was very quiet. The house was perfect for three adults and two kids, and it was great to be able to bring our dog. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful, spacious home. The location is wonderful- a short walk to everything we wanted to explore. We have been spending our summer vacations in Ogunquit for decades and this was one of the best homes we have rented for our stay. We definitely would stay here again. Stephanie, the rental agent, was very hands on and responsive.

Location, space to spread out, and amazing communication: perhaps the 3 most important things you need when renting a place. Not only is this house steps from Shore Dr, it seems to be exactly between downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove: a less than 10 minute walk to either. Its proximity to the delicious restaurant “The Maine Catch” was excellent for our taste buds but maybe not our waistlines. The house was super spacious for our party of six adults (3 couples): the kitchen and main room are large and we all commented how we never felt on top of one another. The entire house was spotless and seemed like it had recently been renovated: the entire second floor felt brand new: fresh paint, a very very nice bathroom (excellent water pressure!), and new mattresses. But maybe the best element was the management company. We had booked a completely different house that somehow suddenly was double booked and we had to scramble to find a place 5 days before arrival. Our stress level was very high. Stephanie at Anchor was ridiculously helpful. She responded incredibly quickly to any message and recognized what we were going thru so she made it a point to call to assure us that she and Anchor had our trip under control. And they did. We had an amazing vacation in Ogunquit and would rent this house again, no questions asked. One more thing: Stephanie’s recommendation for sandwiches from Pinsa was spot-on. It’s a must-visit.

Very disappointed

We arrived to a very dirty house, dog hair everywhere, two of four barstools broken, kitchen chairs so stained they were unusable, dirty facecloth in the upstairs shower, liner in downstairs shower so full of mold It was unusable, and toilet upstairs wouldn’t stop running unless we lifted the tank lid to unstick the flapper. Property mgr had cleaning crew come back and she came in two days later w two new stools and chair covers. Blew a fuse w a blow dryer and had to have property mgr come reset as no air conditioning without power. No gas in grill and had to clean oven in order to use that instead. No basics in kitchen including simple cooking utensils, salt or pepper. House is only worth half of what we paid and would never rent again or recommend.

We take great pride in the homes we offer and strive to give our guests only the best experience. That said, I was sorry to hear your initial feedback. We attempted to rectify the cleaning issues Sunday morning when I received your initial complaint, however the cleaner wasn't allowed in because of the temperment of your dog. The cleaner returned promptly the following morning. I'm glad I was able to resolve the other issues that you brought to my attention in a timely manner, and your appreciation was shown in our text correspondence. Our homes are fully stocked with basic supplies (dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), but consumables are not provided to stay in line with health and safety protocols. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. Lastly, we opted to waive any deductions from the security deposit due to your dog having multiple accidents in the home (that I was witness to).
