Fantastic location with plenty of space for large families to spread out. Great views of the gulf from the patio. Pool was warm and clean. Would definitely rent again.

Our stay was very good overall. Only suggestion would be to work on the fence as in the part behind the house was very low and if you have dogs they could easily leave the property. The pool was great and the perfect temperature. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The house was perfect for a three generation vacation. Lots of space and everyone loved the pool. The location felt private on a side street but was close to the beach and island activities. Easy to go into town over the bridge as needed. Very enjoyable.

Christmas break getaway

Perfect location! Outdoor space was ideal for all to enjoy and the hot tub was amazing on the cooler days and evenings. It was nice to have a refrigerator outdoors too.

Rising Tide

An excellent location right across from beach access and close to shops & restaurants. Great kitchen and balcony area. Bedding comfortable. Downside, very little privacy outside backyard, need window covering in bathroom, kitchen lacked some basic utensils

VRBO stepped up and provided a replacement when my original host went AWOL.

At 4:00 we were told we could not stay in the property bc there was a hidden dead rodent causing a terrible smell and we would need to relocate. AMIlocals gave us 3 choices for yet a 2nd relocated property. It was right across the street and a wonderful place. Thank you for reimbursing me!!

Had a few problems with heat on main floor, pool and spa. Major problem with fridge on main floor, almost caused a fire . This happened at midnight and luckily my daughter and her friend were up yet as it was smoking. Also confusion with repair or new fridge

Pros* Excellent location. 1 minute walk to the beach* Nice amenities: Washer/Dryer, putting green, ping pong table* Plenty of tables and seating, both inside and outside* AMI Locals was promptly responsive to our questions* The island has several great restaurant. We especially liked the "Star Fish Company"Cons* Maintenance could be better. For example: - Front door keypad lock was not always responsive. We didn't report this. - Front door was difficult to close. We reported this. A maintenance person came out but this issue was still not resolved. - The queen bed in the 2nd floor bedroom sunk in the middle of the bed, making it hard for two people to sleep in it. We reported this. Maintenance came out, but the issue wasn't fully resolved. I frankly think the owner needs to put in a new bed. - The master bedroom bathroom on the 2nd floor had a sliding door which often slid open when we closed it. We didn't report this. - The light/ceiling fan in the master bedroom of the second floor kept blinking. We had to turn off the light because it was so distracting. We didn't report this.

Overall the house was good. It was in a great location within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The house shows some wear and could use some updates and was lacking a few amenities. It didn’t have enough forks or washcloths for a family of 10. We had to buy more washcloths. There was no shade at the pool. An umbrella would have been a nice addition. The pool remote didn’t work and it took two days to get it repaired. Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely go back again.
