This Spanish Villa is quintessential Pebble Beach. Meticulously renovated to exacting standards and adorned with elegant, yet comfortable furnishings and appointments. Originally constructed in 1929, this is a historic home within Pebble Beach, built by the legendary Hugh Comstock, who was responsible for giving the Monterey Peninsula much of its architectural character.

Fantastic for entertaining both golf executives and families looking to relax. There is a 5 hole putting green, elegant fire pit with antique water feature. Very private and yet steps to 17 Mile Drive and the Pacific Ocean. Four of the six bedrooms enjoy vaulted ceilings and soft lighting for a relaxing environment to unwind and rest. There are also two Moroccan tile balconies that complement the graciousness of the home. Lastly, a full gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances and seating area for 8-10 guests.

Major amenities in Pacific Grove and Carmel within 10 minute drive.

I really did love this set-up and property. solid comfort and layout very agreeable with our group. Seriously, if there was a coffee machine in the casita, I think that would have made the stay work for all. But I'm not all of the 13 people in our group, just 8% of the whole.When I asked others in our group about their spaces, they had some issues. The Casita could have benefited with its own coffee machine vs coming over to the main house. The water system seemed stressed and pipes would offer vibrating sounds that echoed through the home, esp while washer was in use.The gate staff seemed to not be aware of our rental in use and would question our movements coming on and off coming into the 17 mile drive gates. I have many experiences in gate issues, being a owner @ Ocean Reef in Key Largo and those gate customs were much more in line with owners & renters rights to travel in the gated community. Then there was the garbage issue. the 1st mourning, with 13 people in the home, the can outside was already full, plus the other cans. so, there was a bit of texting to figure this out without having overflow issues.Lastly, we paid a hefty price for our stay vs the current price for next year at this same time, 20% more. This was a bit frustrating I once realized this, ugh.

The location was wonderful for us—near the beach, Spanish Bay and MPCC. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. We had a family gathering with 11 people (including two little ones), and everyone loved the house! We had a glitch finding the key for check-in, but the owner was very responsive about helping us thru that.

Family of ten had plenty of room. The gas fireplace, gas fire pit, and putting green were a big hit with our group. The grounds are beautiful. Good location and quiet. Nicely decorated and highly recommend.

The house was in a great location. Very close to Roy’s, Hay’s Place, The Bench and The Tap Room which had fabulous food and view. The highlight was the putting green and the fire pit.

All we could hope for!

We had an incredible family vacation at this home! Our expectations for this home were high based on all the pictures, and we were not disappointed. This home had room for all our extended family, from the many bedrooms and bathrooms to all the gathering areas. The beds were comfortable, the home was very clean, well stocked with all the necessary extras, and the neighborhood was beautiful. Our whole family was sad to leave but we hope to be back someday to make more great memories!

Stayed for week with 10 people. Beautiful unique house. Enjoyed the putting green, outside fire, and big green egg grill. Neighborhood is quiet and serene. Easy walk to the beach. Would rent again!

Enjoyable Family Vacation

Our family of 12 including grandchildren visited the area for 8 days. The 6 bedrooms fit our needs. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The landscaping is very nice, and the home is well appointed and was roomy for our relatively large group. The host responded promptly and thoroughly from our initial inquiry throughout our stay. It seemed the home hadn't been used in a while and the cleanliness on our arrival did not seem as great as indicated in other reviews. Despite that, we would return again and recommend. A very pleasant stay.

We gathered for our son's wedding at LaPlaya. Wanted a big enough space for ourselves, sons and partners, sister 91 yr old Grandmother. Everyone was happy and comfortable with accommodations. Kitchen so well stocked! Best ever. We enjoyed the two living spaces, fire pit, and putting. Exceeded our expectations. Thank you

Thanksgiving 2020

The entire experience from booking to the actual stay was amazing. What a beautiful home and property. The owners are so gracious, communication was outstanding. We spent possibly one of the best family Thanksgivings ever here. Every detail of this house is wonderful. Absolutely perfect kitchen! We had some great putting golf tournaments while the grandparents watched by the fire pit. An added bonus, Pebble Beach and Spanish bay are so close. We can’t wait to go back.

House, putt putt course and location 🌟

The pictures posted on this site did not disappoint. It was even better. Kids loved having their own “apartment” with the loft. Enough room for everyone, Beds were very comfy, house had everything we needed, the fire pit was perfect on the cool days and nights and a great conversation area, but the hit was the putt putt area. Entertainment for all, 70year olds all the way to 7 year old. It was a great family house! The managers were very attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great stay!
