Rittenhouse Square with all the charm!

Amazing location and host! The house was everything our group needed and more. We enjoyed that we could walk to most of our planned activities and the proximity of coffee, parks, nightlife & more. For our first time in Philly, we all will return and this rental played a huge part in this sentiment.

Wonderful stay in the city in the girls weekend! Great cafes nearby for breakfast and coffee, lovely lottle streets with flowers and shops and simply a great stay with my sis and her friends. We did a tour in the historical area one moneing and also hit up seceral local restaueants. I would definitely stay here again! :) ps stairs in the house are very steep. Its an oldHome and we were like whoa but if you have someone in your group with mobility issues this may not be for you. Otherwise, such a great home and location!!

Excellent location

Wonderful three story house. Right next to the square and easy walk everywhere we wanted. We were in town for a squash tournament and could walk to Penn courts. The free parking was a five minute walk to the car. Excellent food all around. Ate at spread bagel shop every morning. Would stay again.

Comfortable, pretty and convenient

6 girls from high school have a “girls weekend” once a year. This year we all returned to our home base in Philly and had a blast of a time. The house accommodated our needs beautifully. We would recommend and definitely return again. Thanks to Abby.

Fun at Rittenhouse

Great location within walking distance of many nice restaurants and businesses. It's quiet, and right around the corner from Rittenhouse Square. The house was clean and updated with the colonial charm of the building intact. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, and the essentials. Host was very friendly and promptly replied to any questions we had. Would definitely stay at this home if we are ever in the area again.

Nice property for a group of 8. First floor had space for gathering. Property is old with updated parts ( kitchen, showers). Only one Tv on third floor that did not have access to even basic TV ( you needed to be a techie to log into streaming) Nice neighborhood!

Great location

The house is in a great location! We enjoyed being able to walk to local coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc. Important to note - the free parking spot is 4 blocks away. So not convenient at all to use your car while there. The rooms/space were as pictured and felt spacious. The kitchen was frankly bigger than I expected - which is great considering that is where everyone wants to hang out! The stairs in the house are STEEP! Like steep, curvy and narrow. Would not have worked for those with mobility issues. Had my kids been younger, I would have worried about them managing the steps.

Fantastic House!

My friends and I had an amazing stay! There were 6 of us so we had plenty of room in the 4 bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. The mattresses seemed to be new. The sheets and blankets were soft and cozy. We loved that there are three floors because there was lots of privacy for everyone. The steps are rather steep as expected in an older house, but there are safety handles if needed when going up and down. The two bathrooms are beautiful and seem to have been Newley renovated; they were very clean.The entire house was super clean. Has so much character in the beautiful Rittenhouse Square. The best part about staying here was definitely the communication with the host. They were so kind and very professional. It was such a pleasure to work with them.We had a memorable weekend with friends.I highly recommend staying in this property. You will love it.

Overall good experience

Very close walking distance to a big part of downtown Philadelphia, very conducive to dropping by bars/bakeries/ice cream/etc. It was billed as sleeping 14, and there was technically enough space for everyone to sleep but the living spaces were cramped even with 12 adults- probably better either with fewer people or a mixed group with children. The house was quite clean with good internet and amenities- the washer and dryer were a lifesaver. We loved and made great use of the little back patio! It's advertised as having free parking- what's not advertised is that said parking is only for one car, and it's in a parking garage 4 blocks away. There is space for other cars to park in that garage for a price, though, and the price was affordable split between all of us.

The location was fabulous!! We enjoyed the house so much. We used the back patio for morning coffee and evening wine. The third floor living area was perfect. We had the large tv to watch all the basketball games. We will book again when we come back to the area!!! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!
