Marbella South, developed with Family holidays in mind is a vacation community development located in the Davenport area of Central Florida, in Polk County. The resort has a Playground with Tennis and Basketball court.

A comfortably furnished 5-bedroom modern home that easily sleeps 10 people

The home is set over 2 floors and fully air-conditioned throughout.

The property is only a 5-minute drive to local shopping facilities and fantastic restaurants. Features a stunning upgraded pool and Hot Tub with ample deck area including pool furniture.

Kitchen: The kitchen provides every modern appliance you will need during your vacation including Refrigerator, freezer, blender, microwave, oven, coffee maker, stove top burners, dish washer, toaster, cooking utensils.

Dining: dining room seating for 8 people. Additionally, a comfortable breakfast table in the nook area with bar stools at the breakfast bar.

Laundry Room: Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer, Iron, Ironing Board

Bedrooms: 5 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10. Master Bedroom - 1 King sized bed. Master Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen sized bed. Bedroom 3 - 1 Queen sized bed. Bedroom 4 and 5 - 2 Twin / Single beds. Both master bedrooms have ensuite facilities. Ample storage space in all bedrooms including a range of walk in closets, wardrobes and drawers.

Bathrooms: 4 Bathrooms. Master Bathroom - Tub, Shower, Toilet, Extra-large walk-in shower. Master Bathroom 2 - Shower, Toilet, Extra-large walk-in shower. Bathroom 3 - Toilet, Combination Tub/Shower. Bathroom 4 - Combination Tub/Shower, Toilet.

Linens and towels provided, hair dryer, soaps, central heating, telephones, alarm clocks, and a wide range of electronic devices.

Travel cot and high chair available. Pack and Play provided. Blow up bed also available upon request.

Entertainment: Free Wi-Fi. Cable TV in the lounge. All bedrooms are fitted with Cable TV, . The garage is converted into a games room and includes a Pool table.

Outside: parking off and on street, screened porch/lanai, garden, garden chairs.

Swimming Pools: Fully screened, heated (optional for a additional fee) private swimming pool and Hot Tub. Pool/Hot Tub heat recommended from October to March

It was fair.

Overall, I would rate the stay as OK. The house layout, pool, neighborhood, and location were all great. However, the home was hot and not being able to put the temperature at a temperature that is comfortable for my family made the stay a bit uncomfortable for us, especially at night when it was in the 80s(at night) & high 80s (during the day) all that weekend. The thermostat was controlled by the owner, and the dial was blank, so we could not confirm what temperature it was set to be on. (Not lowering the temp beyond a certain amount is also a rule, but you couldn't control it anyway.) I understand the need to protect a rental property and that some renters can be abusive, but we do not vacation that way, so it was a bit annoying to have rules of what to do and not do, along with the charges you would have if you did them, posted on the walls at every turn, I would have much preferred this to be in the listing or sent with the confirmation emails. I wouldn't say not to rent, just be aware that there are quite a few rules, but you won't forget them because they are posted everywhere!

Good location

The property description was accurate. The house is close to amenities including grocery stores. There are not a great deal of restaurants to choose from within the area. I was disappointed with the state of the mattresses. They’re old, soft, lumpy and squeaky
..they were quite uncomfortable.

Spacious and Family-Friendly

We loved the size of this 5 bedroom vacation home, it gave us the space we needed. The kitchen is appropriately stocked with appliances, pots/pans and utensils that we needed to cook whatever we needed. The pool and spa are TERRIFIC and were just the right thing to have after a day of running around the theme park. The host was responsive to our needs - we had 2 issues after check-in (the disposal and spa were not working) and our host had them fixed ASAP.

Family Vacation

The house was clean and lots of space for our family of 7. We would have liked to control the air conditioning ourselves and not have to call the property manager when it was warm. We rented the house for two weeks and the pool was not cleaned during this time.

Not quite ready for rental

As snowbirds, we were eager to spend 8 days swimming in the heated pool; the main focus of our vacation since we weren't visiting any theme parks. Unfortunately the owners didn't inspect the property prior to renting to their first VRBO guest, us. The pool heat didn't work until late day 6. Add to that, we arrived to a smoke alarm chirping every 30 seconds. It took 4 days to get it fixed (3 nights of no sleep). The thermostat was locked behind a plexiglass lockbox. We had to contact the owner more than once per day to change it from its default setting of 56-78 (heat would turn on under 56, & A/C would turn on above 78). He would adjust the temperature setting but it automatically reset to the default every day leading to some chilly nights & muggy afternoons. One challenge with communication wasn't knowing whether to contact the owner or his daughter both of whom are out of the area (such as when we didn't get the door code to check in; stressful). Rules on every wall felt unwelcoming &odd. We took a chance with booking it without any reviews & lost. Our main goal was swimming in a heated pool & didn't get to do that until the end of our stay. We only get to come to FL once per year so we will be more careful next winter. We asked 2 days prior to our arrival to make sure the pool was heated (some properties mention that it takes a day to heat up the pool). The heating element was broken & they hadn't checked. This house has potential but get solid assurances before you book.
