The Property
Gleneagle Getaway's interior is the perfect balance between mountain chic and homey comfort. With a vaulted ceiling and stunning fireplace feature wall, the upstairs living room makes a strong first impression from the front door. The wood mantle was cut from a fallen tree near downtown Colorado Springs and carved by a local artisan. Adjacent to the living room is a cozy dining room that can comfortably seat 6-8 people. Adorning the walls are large scale photos of some of the area’s most famous natural landmarks.

Beyond the living room is the updated kitchen. It features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an eat-in island. The kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials to cook and eat meals at home. The coffee bar is equipped with a Keurig machine and supplied with complimentary pods, tea, hot cocoa, creamers, and sugar. Guests can get ideas for their trip by admiring the “Things to do and see” wall in the kitchen, highlighting some of the best local attractions.

The main level has two bedrooms, including the primary. Each bedroom creatively reflects an aspect of Colorado living. Natural colors and landscape photography create a warm and inviting primary suite. The attached bathroom features a wood vanity, with plenty of storage, and a large shower. The second bedroom on the main level is decorated with woodland creature prints, highlighting the area’s “native” residents. The bunk bed is a fun element for children, while also being solid and sturdy enough for adults to sleep soundly. The bean bag chair can convert to a full mattress, for a sleeping capacity of three people. Downstairs, the third bedroom is decorated with red, white, and blue to highlight Colorado Springs as “Olympic City USA”. The fourth bedroom features vintage posters of the Air force Academy, emphasizing its importance to the area.

The downstairs recreation room provides several entertainment options for kids and adults, including a ping pong table, assortment of board games, or watching a movie on the 65” TV. The wet bar with mini- fridge and microwave keep cooled beverages and snacks easily accessible.

Enjoy the cool Colorado evenings in the fully fenced backyard, featuring a 5-person hot tub, gas grill, fire pit with lounge seating, and dining table. *COMING SOON* A wood gazebo and string lights will be added to the lounge area before the summer.

When not at the house, guests can enjoy all the area attractions. The Air Force Academy, Top Golf, iFly indoor skydiving, Overdrive Raceway, and the up-and-coming concert amphitheater are all within 5 minutes of the house. Grocery stores, gas stations, and several restaurants are only a short drive away. With quick access to I-25, it is easy to get around town.

Other noteworthy features:
• Each bedroom is equipped with a fan, suitcase rack, extra pillows, and extra blankets.
• Each bed has at least (2) pillows per person, one that is firm and one that is softer.
• Two bedrooms have King beds, one on each level, making it ideal for multiple couples or families traveling together.
• All three bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and make-up removing wipes. Extra towels are provided in the linen/hall closets.
• Baby/ Toddler items provided include a pack n’ play, bouncer, step stool, potty seat, baby monitors, retractable gate at the top of the stairs, high-chair, booster seat, umbrella stroller, toys and puzzles, and dishes in the kitchen.
• Washer and dryer available for guest use. Laundry pods, dryer sheets, iron, and ironing board are provided.
• Guests may park in the two-car garage or driveway.
