Welcome to Memory Maker House — a family-friendly gathering spot designed for comfort, convenience, and time together.

Guests say we thought of everything and our place feels like home.

We chose layout, furnishings, accommodations, supplies, etc. like our family would stay and/or work there. The living room has a pocket door which effectively turns the room into a dedicated workspace or an escape for kids to watch TV. The kitchen flows into the dining area, so big groups can have a meal together - at the kitchen island, dining table, or both. Upstairs you will find washer/dryer, master (king) bedroom/full bath, and three bedrooms/full bath.

This was absolutely perfect! Beautifully renovated! And a perfect location! There were 6 of us ladies and 5 of us went to UNI back in the early 90s, so this house was in just the right spot! We will definitely be back!

Great house for a group!

Michael and Andrea’s home was a great fit for our group. It was clean, comfortable and a perfect fit for a large group! We were able to go to the amusement park and water park easily and have a comfortable home each night to cook and rest. Michael was responsive and great to work with. We would stay here again!

We made some wonderful memories at your memory maker home! Some of the things we enjoyed the most. Beautiful big porch, front and back. Fully stocked modern kitchen. Amenities for the little ones like a high chair, pack and play and baby toys. Central location for our family reunion and water park. There were 11 of us and there was Plenty of room for everyone. The host communicated well with us. Answered all questions we had in a timely manner. The home is beautifully updated but has an old world charm. We highly recommend the Memory Maker home!

We’re originally from the Midwest, and moved to North Carolina in the early 90’s. Our kids/grandkids are still in the Midwest - 4 of them in Cedar Falls. That was reason enough to create Memory Maker House.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We have always lived in (updated) older homes. There is a charm, and story you won’t find in newer construction. Our 4BR property is THE closest to UNI (University of Northern Iowa) - we love being part of a college town.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

UNI proximity is a key feature. The UNI Dome is < 1 mile away. If you’re a pickleball fan, there are two lighted courts one block away. We setup the house intentionally for families to make memories, which means enough space to gather, and enough space to be separate when you want. If you’re bringing an infant/toddler - we have what you need: pack-and-play, high chair, baby gate, infant bath. If you need to send the kids to a separate room, or take a conference call - we’ve got you covered. The living room has a pocket door separating it from the rest of the first floor.
