The house was nice, however there were several issues and no resolution by property management. The house had a very musty smell. There was algae by the pool and someone fell because the shower leaks constantly so the algae has grown. Some of the beds were not even made and we had to make them when we arrived. The upstairs washing machine and dryer didn’t work. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and some were not the cleanest. There were not enough coffee cups for the the 13 people, although the house is listed to accommodate more. It was nice to have as many bathrooms as we did, however when we called the property management they were supposed to to send someone out, but there was no resolution.

Breezy Beach - Amazing!

This place was absolutely perfect! Right on the beach, easy access. Amazing sunsets. The Owner was extremely responsive. Loved every second of vacation!

Great home! Great location, 4 floors and elevator didn’t work while we were there. Had a few things that needed attention but they were there quickly to fix! Beds were comfortable. Would come back again!

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay and it looks like the pics posted. Only thing is if you have small kids like us you might want to bring baby gates. This home has multiple stairs both inside and outside. However the elevator was nice to have. I still give it 5 stars and potentially return next year.

Property is very nice. It was not very clean prior to our arrival and bath towels were missing in some bathrooms. Some doors had problems with locks, including sliding glass door on second floor. Overall, it was very nice.

The building and its location are excellent. With easy access to St. Andrew's, grocery, and other services, it's hard to beat. It's far enough away from the hustle to be quiet and peaceful. With plenty of rooms and privacy for everyone, its layout suits a large group.That said, Southern Vacation Rentals must improve. The property was filthy. Don't walk barefoot on the floor, your feet will blacken. Mold was everywhere, especially on the main floor. It smelled. I know, it's Florida you'll say; I live in the South, too, and the humidity is no excuse for mold. It points to a lack of care.Cleanliness aside, facilities need work. The elevator was nonfunctional on arrival. The lock on the back door didn't actually lock. Broken handles, hinges, and burnt-out lights were too numerous to list. Good luck using the laundry machine on the 3rd floor; the display doesn't light up. The TV in the living room was broken. The pool's autofill was broken. The beach shower leaked, nonstop. The listing says it sleeps 18 but there are only six seats at the dining room table, nine if you include counter seating. I guess they expect you to eat in shifts. The housekeeping crew prepared only half of the bedrooms. There was no soap. The property has so much potential and most everyone in your party will have a great time. However, the main point of contact in your group is not going to enjoy this property and will need a vacation from the vacation.

Family Beach Getaway

This property checked all the boxes and exceeded my expectations! In my search for the perfect beach home for a family of twelve, I came across Breezy Beach. I was hesitant to book because it only had two reviews at the time, but I followed my gut and I'm so glad I did! The property had everything we needed and more! There was plenty of space and the space was beautifully decorated and clean. If I had to offer a critique, it would be to confirm functional door codes prior to guest arrival. Overall, I highly recommend!

Serious Safety Concerns During Our StayWe chose this home for a family vacation, but unfortunately our experience was significantly disrupted by a major safety issue. During our stay, an unauthorized individual entered the property twice in the middle of the night while my family was sleeping. This was extremely frightening and caused us to feel unsafe for the remainder of the trip.After the first incident, we checked every floor and ensured all doors were locked. Despite this, the same individual entered again less than an hour later through another sliding door. The responding deputies described the person as someone they have encountered before in the area. The situation left our family on edge and unable to rest or enjoy the remainder of our vacation.We later learned from a previous guest review that the property had known issues with faulty locks on certain sliding doors. During our stay, a maintenance technician was sent out to reinforce the locks and secure the gate, which suggests these concerns were ongoing.While the home itself has attractive features, the lack of secure doors made us feel vulnerable, and the experience overshadowed what should have been a relaxing getaway. I hope this review encourages future attention to guest safety and ensures that all entry points are fully secured.

Once the incident was reported to our Guest Services Team, our Operations Team was notified immediately and the property manager was dispatched to the home. The locks on the affected entry points were replaced and tested to ensure the home was secure, the police report was filed so the authorities could address the individual involved. We regret that this situation impacted what should have been a relaxing vacation and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback has been shared with our leadership and property management teams to ensure continued attention to guest safety. Compensation was offered as a gesture of goodwill. We hope you will allow us the opportunity to provide a more comfortable stay in the future.

The house itself is beautiful and had everything our family needed. Being directly on the beach with a pool made the location absolutely amazing. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, but unfortunately, from the first day, the A/C unit broke and could not be replaced before our stay ended.We spent nearly two days trying to resolve the issue. The host eventually compensated us 1,500, which we appreciated, but we would have preferred being moved to another comparable property. We came to create family memories, not to seek compensation.In addition, the dishwasher did not work, and on our second day we lost both water and electricity for about two hours, while neighboring properties still had utilities. Overall, the home is spacious and very functional, but it clearly needs a more thorough inspection and some updates to ensure everything is in working order for future guests.
