Easy to find, smooth and flexible check-in/out, had a clean interior. Had a loud neighbor at night whos nextdoor camper isnt shown in the photos. I wish there was a matt for shoes and hooks for jackets. The home stayed warm. It was a nice stay.
The tiny house was great! Great views, close to downtown BV, close to amazing hiking trails and hot springs, pet friendly, and comfortable bed! It was just my partner, dog and I and the space was perfect size. I would say itâs way too small for four adults (listing states you can fit four). Overall
This was my first stay in a tiny home. Location and views from the property were great. It is located in a campground property with campers and other tiny homes. Unfortunately the property lacked cleanliness and upkeep. Inside the walls and doors were covered in dirty prints and filth. Especially the white bathroom door. The shower had not been cleaned well either and there was long hairs from previous guests. The bathroom smelt bad as well. The bed sheets were dirty and had small stains and hairs from previous guests. Water pressure is very low and it took several minutes for the water in the shower to get slightly warm. Check in was smooth and easy. I like the concept of the property but it lacks upkeep. A good wipe down of the property would go a long way
We arrived at 9:30pm (and did after-hours checkin, which was easy). After that, even with the campground map, we had a very difficult time locating the house since it was so dark. Low voltage lighting over the house name would have really helped with this without affecting the neighbors. The porch light was burned out, which made unloading our truck challenging. When we arrived at our tiny home, it was about 85-90 degrees inside. The AC wasn't on. The window unit was blowing on the fan-only setting. We switched it to AC on high setting and opened the two windows that had screens (since it was only about 60 degrees outside) to let the trapped heat out. The other windows had no screens, so we couldn't open them for cross ventilation. It took several hours to cool down the house. The kitchen cabinets even had heat trapped in them a couple hours later. One of the cabinet door hinges was broken, and the door hung about an inch lower than the other, which made opening and closing the cabinet tricky. Two of the glasses in the cabinet were dirty. The house gave the impression of being a rental that wasn't having regular needed maintenance done. Broken hinges, burned out porch bulbs and tears in the vinyl floor (which made pulling out the bed/couch for my kids very difficult) are things that should be tended to. Also, if a renter contacts the campground in advance to arrange for late checkin on a hot day, one would hope that they could have had the AC on in advance. Please do better.
