Relax at this peaceful private mountain top minihome.

190 feet of elevation with panoramic views of Orange and Rocky Lakes. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. Nearby boat landing. Fishing winter and summer. 1.5 miles off of Rt. 1. 12 miles to Dunkin Donuts, grocery store, Helen’s famous blueberry pie and many other services. Hunters and fishermen welcome. Near 4 wheeler trails. Nice breezes. Great place to walk and hike as well as many trails throughout Washington County. Abundant wildlife.

What an incredible spot! The Little Mountain Cottage truly is a gem and a perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking/adventuring. Pia keeps the place clean and well kept and we really enjoyed our stay.

This ranks as one of the best, most peaceful places we’ve stayed. It had everything we needed for light cooking. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable with great sheets and pillows. We would happily go back to the Little Mountain Cottage and never tire of the lovely views.

Excellent Rental

This is a perfect place to rent if you like your privacy. It is also a perfect location for visiting the Lubec, Campobello, and Machias area. I highly recommend this property!

Booked as a last minute one night getaway. Communication with host and check-in was easy and straight-forward. The cabin and property were immaculate, thoughtfully appointed, and stocked with everything we needed. Location was amazing. The site is located on the the top of a hill with amazing forest and lake views. This place is an absolute gem. Hope to return again soon!

Perfect little cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Everything was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked, the views were amazing! It was cold and rainy during our stay but we were warm and snug in this little cabin. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Only problem we had was finding it.

This place is HEAVEN!!! The cabin is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed, right down to firewood, fire starters, and a hose for fire safety. We were isolated in the most perfect way on top of a mountain and able to truly relax in comfort. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our emails. I cannot recommend this location enough and hope to schedule a return visit in the future. A perfect hideaway to escape people and reclaim your inner peace!
