It’s a perfect beach vacation very close to the beach. We can walk very easily there private beach and nice sunsets.

Annual Book Family Beach Vacation

Have stayed at both Oyster Cove and Oyster Bay and have enjoyed both. Private beach is great and our hosts are easily accessible and accommodating.

Roomy w/Easy Beach Access

This home accommodated our three generation family very well. The upstair's suit was perfect for our gaggle of kids! Its location is walkable to the beach and it also has a pretty view of the bay. :) (It is right beside Hwy 1, which is a bit noisy.) Overall I would recommend this property!

Fun Stay

We had a fun stay at this property. Great for a family. The only negative was that it is in need of a deep spring cleaning (especially the living room furniture) and some small maintenance.

Terri glad you had a fun stay at our place!. I just wanted to let you know that we ordered all new coverings for the living room furniture about 3 months ago and were still waiting to get them in. Also have subsequently had some painting done on the interior and exterior to the property.

Summer Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Oyster Cove. The property was lovely and you can't beat the proximity to the beach and one of our favorite spots, Matt's Fish Camp. The owners were very responsive, although we had no issues during our stay.

House location was amazing, but constant beach traffic on the road made sitting outside abit unenjoyable. The house was perfect for the size of our party. we ran into some few small issues, but the property manager/owner were very responsive.

Wonderful Family House

Our family loved this house! The open floor plan in the common areas was nice and there was more than enough space for all. The kids loved their 4th floor accommodations! We hope to be back someday to enjoy the house again. Thank you!

Bethany Holiday August 2023

Oyster Cove is a perfect spot for large families to stay. We enjoyed the spacious living areas, kids bunk room and quick beach access. We had a beautiful view of sunsets on the sound. The unit provides lots of beach toys, chairs and an umbrella. The extra fridge on the lower level was great for drinks and food. We would stay there again!

House layout is excellent for large family

House worked really well for our family!! Quick walk to beach and room to spread out. Evenings on beach were fantastic!! Only drawback is as others have said, the highway right next to the house was quite loud. Also, I know they are trying to turn the house over each week but should spend some time working on outside decks and basement.

Hance, I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. I did want to mention that we had a painting company contracted to refinish and paint all of the decks this past spring and they came out and prepared the desks to be painted but because of weather and personnel shortages(big problem here in DE this year) they did not get out to paint the decks before the season started and once it started there was not time to paint the desks between renters. That is why the decks were looked that way that they did. We definitely are going to have them painted this fall.

Close to the beach but too close to the road

Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen and the neighbors are quiet However, it is impossible to sleep in the house at night due to the very loud traffic from the road - it is constant. If you are able to put up with loud traffic, then you should be fine.

Great home but some things need fixed

Place was great but some things needed fixed. The decks outside the kitchen (1)and the living room (2)had spindles that were loose and we had infants who could have gone through them. Also had 2 kitchen lights above the bar that the bulbs were blown. Also light on 3rd floor steps was blown also. The edge of king size bed in the master bedroom stuck out further than the mattress and we hit that many times and my wife hit it hard enough once to cause a huge bruise. We moved the bed further away from bathroom to see if that helped and it did but still did it again. Building is near the highway, which we knew ahead of time. It was noisy in the evening a good bit. Overall, it was a great week with our family !

Not for clean freaks

The house is nice, we were all comfortable and had a good time. The kid’s room on the third floor was especially great. It’s worth noting this is the very first house in the neighborhood, so closest to the highway (kind-of noisy) and furthest from the beach. Our main gripe is that overall, the house was not clean. The check out procedures put the burden of cleaning on the guests and the state of the dishes, floors, counters, table tops, and quilts/pillow shams had us all wondering whether basic cleaning occurred between guests. The bottoms of our feet were black within a few hours of arriving. Outlets in the house didn’t seem to work consistently, a stopper for one of the bath tubs was missing, there was only 1 broken spatula in the kitchen. Minor, but annoying. I’d love to stay in this neighborhood again, but I might try another house.

We were very pleased with Oyster Cove. Wonderful layout but too many steps for our older adults. Great access to the private beach. When we left today we didn't know where the week went, we would've loved to stay another week.

Thanksgiving weekend

The property was very spacious and accommodated 9 adults and 5 kids. We enjoyed our stay but the property was not cleaned before our arrival. Sofa bed was dirty. As was the floor. Vents on the wall are black and full of dirt. Also the property is right on the coastal hwy so if you are looking for a good nights sleep it won’t happen. It sounds like you are sleeping on the hwy. Apart from the property’s location and cleanliness, overall we had a good time

Amy and I and our two girls have been traveling to the Outerbanks for years because we love the open beaches and non crowded atmosphere. We also enjoyed going down with multiple families and having fun sharing good times with our friends and their children. So when we looked to acquire a rental property a little closer to home(Northern Va), we looked to find something that had those same quite beaches and a place where family and friends could have memorable vacations. As a bonus we hoped to find a place that was close to nature activities, nice restaurants and social events. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this location in North Bethany has it all. Close to the Rehoboth and Bethany boardwalks/restaurants/shops and overlooking the bay, 100 yards to a non-crowded private beach and right next the Delaware State Seashore Park. We could not be happier and we hope that you enjoy your stay as well!
