This was our families first trip to the area and this place was amazing. The unit had a few minor hiccups, but absolutely nothing that got in the way of enjoying both the property or the incredible views. The elevators can be crowded at times, but it really wasn’t more than a few minute wait the entire stay. The pool was amazing. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was addressed quickly. We will absolutely be staying here again.

1 trash bag per container 1 pod for dishwasher stains on couch and bed spread. Toilet seat in master was loose and broke the last day of our stay. For the premium price you pay that’s not excepted. Rooms are spacious beds comfortable large TV’s in each Bedroom and living area. Overall 4 out 5 stars. Note: trash bags and detergent is very affordable at most box stores.

Condo needs upgrades

The “frying pans were terrible. I fried eggs first day and did not eat in after that. The dinner table needs replaced or refinished. PILLOWS for bed were horrible . Found two decent for four beds. Balcony furniture was unraveling and extremely cheap. While the rest of the condo was OK

Winter Getaway

Phoenix West 1507

We love this location. Unfortunately, 1/3 of the beautiful view was blocked by inoperable blinds. My wife was very upset with the fish smell from the fridge and freezer. She did lots to reduce it. Please don't ask why we didn't say something - I reported an inoperable toilet the first day and nothing was ever done.

Only comment is the pot situation. I had to warm food in a frying pan., since there were no medium size pots. They had 2 small and 2 very large No medium. Everything else was great.

The check in codes were unavailable until we called in. As soon as we checked in at the property we had to pay for parking which was surprising. In the room one of the toilet paper holder as well as flush tank was broken which when we reported while check in and tried to use but were told that it was not before we checked in but after going the recent review, the toilet broken paper holder has been reported as well. Also we were assured that this would be repaired next day which didn’t happen as well.

Thank you for leaving a review, Sab. We hope you enjoyed your stay, but we want to be truthful for future renters reading your review. We actually texted you the door code at 9am on your arrival day, a whole 7 hours before the actual check-in time of 4pm. As for parking, we make it very clear on the listing, prior to anyone booking, that guests will have to pay for a parking pass at arrival. We do not sell parking passes for this condo. This is also stated on the rental agreement that you signed. As for the toilet paper holder and flush handle, you reported that at 3:52pm on the 23rd and we said we could repair it the next morning and you said you appreciate us for understanding. We repaired it around 10am the next morning. We flushed the toilet multiple times. Also, because of the slight inconvenience, we gave you a 12pm check out which is normally 10am. Again, we want to be truthful in these reviews for future renters. We hope you could still enjoy your stay despite the slight inconvenience.

Very Clean - A little TLC needed

This unit is very Clean and nicely decorated/appointed! The sofa in the picture is not the actual sofa - we were short on seating for our group. Had to use a dining room chair to watch the game together. Dishwasher did not work but we did not catch it right away. We reported it (texted). Simpson Property Management said someone would come check it. I have no idea if anyone ever came. We washed our dishes by hand. The TV remotes for one of the bedrooms did not work. Management told us to swap them. That's fine if we had a spare bed room but we had all 3 bedrooms rooms in use. When I followed up a few days later they said it would take a few days to get one ordered. The toilet paper holder in the primary kept falling off the wall. Reported it at check out. We love staying at Phoenix West. No issues with the property. This was a very special trip for several members 80th birthday. We were a little disappointed in this unit managed by Simpson Properties. I hope these issues are addressed so the next party enjoys their stay!

Nice suite

The suite was very nice and clean with large rooms, including the bedrooms and bathrooms. The large double shower in the master bedroom was a nice bonus. My only complaint would be the small toilets since I am 6'3", but that's my opinion. The suite itself is 5 stars. But as for the building, having only 4 elevators in a 29-story building with a lot of people going up and down was a bit aggravating, at times waiting for the fourth or fifth elevator to stop before we were able to get on. That is why I gave this only 4 stars.

Very nice property. The pools were outstanding and the beach was great. The only negative is the elevator wait times are intense at certain times of the day. I would definitely suggest this property to any other family

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. They were able to check us in very early. The dryer did quit working on us but they sent a new one by the next morning. As far as the property, we wish the outdoor pools and lazy river was heated. We still enjoyed them but quickly ran inside to the hot tub once getting out. The indoor pool was packed at all times. There are restaurants across the street but we mainly drove to gulf shores because that’s where all the recommendations were. It was around a 10 min drive there. The elevators were slow for there to be 4 of them and in the winter months. I couldn’t imagine in the summer especially where there are 29 floors. Overall we enjoyed it and would go back to the area

This was our first time staying in area and we loved the room.

I chose room according to pictures online and it was exactly what was advertised….absolutely beautiful! This room was very spacious and loved that each room (3) having their own bathroom plus an additional near front area. The ocean/pool View was perfect. I will definitely stay again.

Best Beaches

Our unit was spacious and clean, well appointed with comfortable beds. The unit was a little “tired” but it did seem well maintained. We used the lazy river, fitness center, and pool/spa. All were good. Biggest disappointments were the number of guests violating the smoke-free building rules. Every time we sat on our balcony, we smelled cigarette smoke. Guests were smoking and vaping at the lazy river. We encounter only a couple who were drunk and rude at the lazy river which is pretty amazing given how many drink while floating. The elevator is slow. Owner of our unit (Simpson Properties) was extremely responsive and communicated well. Instructions were easy to understand and follow. We love Orange Beach.
