Enjoy your time in the Hill Country in this Texas inspired cottage just off High Street in Comfort, Texas. This professionally decorated and recently renovated space is fully equipped and in the perfect location to enjoy everything Comfort has to offer. Located just 30 yards off High Street where a variety of shops, wine bars, and restaurants are just a few steps away.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and electric oven. Enjoy coffee from the Nespresso machine along with a wide selection of coffee flavors. There is also a blender, Ice maker and your very own coke machine filled with lots of sodas.
The cozy bedroom has a king bed and 55" TV as well as a leather rocker.
The bathroom has a double vanity and a separate water closet for added privacy.

Our stay in Comfort was wonderful. Location of the VRBO had us short walks away from coffee and retail shops as well as restaurants. The front porch was a great place to relax.

We loved our stay at this cozy house in Comfort! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the town square, shops, and local attractions. The home is beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxing. It was the perfect blend of charm and convenience, and we can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed a second fabulous get-away at The Stay on 7th Street. Modern luxurious amenities mixed with antique decor enhance the experience in this renovated cottage from 1906. Communications with the hostess are prompt and gracious. We hope to book another relaxing trip ere long!

High and Dry on 7th Street

We were here over the 4th of July floods. Property was high enough we had no issues. The property was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were very responsive. The other great reviews did not oversell this rental. Would definitely rent this one again.

This cottage is perfectly curated and located in the heart of downtown Comfort. We walked most places, and shopped at the cute downtown stores. The cottage was so clean with a very large comfortable bed and bedding, adorable vintage touches, including an old glass soda machine! There was even a nest of fuzzy baby birds on the spacious front porch, with four rocking chairs to watch them! The host was incredibly kind and responsive. We want to come back!

Superlative Get-away

The Stay in Comfort is remarkable, for the 1906 building lovingly restored and beautifully furnished. It is located within easy walking distance to Comfort’s shops and dining places. We loved strolling through the neighborhood in the evenings to admire the old homes. Our hostess was gracious and welcoming. A true gem of a rental! We hope to return soon.

Absolutely perfect

This cottage is so adorable and perfect for us. We were only in town for one night for a mountain bike race and the bed was so comfortable we both slept like babies. We love visiting Comfort Texas every 6months for this particular race and next time we will stay longer just so we can stay here. It is so clean and well appointed with a huge shower! Loved it and will stay here again for sure!!

Spacious, renovated house right off High St

We really enjoyed our stay at this little house. The photos don’t do the beautiful renovation justice. It had everything we needed and then some. A lovely kitchen(though we didn’t cook!) would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The site was even better in person, felt homey, warm, inviting, safe. The bed was probably the best I've ever slept in, lol. Easy access, cool place. Would EASILY want to book again. Hosts were awesome.

My wife and I loved this VRBO! The owners hit a home run with every design detail of this newly remodeled home. It was surprisingly larger than we anticipated. The kitchen and living room were on par with that of brand new custom homes. The bedding was beautiful and comfortable, and I could have spent an hour in the shower. We've stayed in 4-star hotels that offered less, and of course, the location put us within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. You should book this NOW!

Perfect Getaway

This home was elegantly done with personal touches throughout. Right off the main road in the heart of town. Loved enjoying the rocking chairs on the porch! It was the perfect stay to our perfect last minute getaway.
