Welcome to The Barn Haus- where guests can enjoy contemporary luxury nestled within the tree tops of our hill country ranchette. What used to be the old hayloft of our barn is now an amazing and comfortable space for a getaway to the peaceful countryside.

A fully stocked kitchen with all modern appliances means you can cook your favorite meals if you so choose. Flat screen TVs (we have 5!) connected to our high speed fiber optic internet means never missing the game or your favorite show. We provide YouTube TV which has over 100+ channels for your viewing pleasure. Guests can also login to their own streaming accounts or channel apps.

The bedroom boasts a king size bed and has a desk with USB hubs providing a workspace for those who can't completely disconnect or who want to do a little work while relaxing.

In the hallway, we have custom twin bunk beds each with their own TVs, charging stations, and lighting. Across from the bunks is the spa-like bathroom with tub/shower combo. We have a full size washer and dryer set for your convenience. For additional sleeping, our sofa converts to a queen sleeper bed.

Outside, enjoy views of the hills from the front balcony or relax in the private fenced-in side yard where you'll find a covered patio with rocking chairs, dining set, hot tub, and flat screen TV. We also have an open deck with a propane fire pit and chairs. Several outdoor games including cornhole, giant connect 4, Jenga, and darts are available. A charcoal BBQ grill is provided for your grilling needs.

We are avid basketball fans and have installed an outdoor basketball court for all guests on our ranchette to use. Feel free to also exit the back gate of your yard and go on a little nature walk where you may be lucky to encounter native species such as whitetail deer, fox, squirrels, and more.

The Barn Haus also offers a truly unbeatable location. Main Street Boerne is around 7 minutes away, with a multitude of shops and restaurants to enjoy. For the live music lover, Luckenbach is a straight shot about 20 minutes north from the Oak Haus. The quaint town of Sisterdale is 7 minutes north and offers a wonderful BBQ restaurant - Black Board BBQ, Sister Creek Winery, Sisterdale Distilling Company and a lovely scenic drive.

The Barn Haus is within minutes of several wedding venues and wineries/vineyards. Also Fredericksburg is about a 30 minute drive with an even more impressive array of shops, wineries and breweries.

Public access to the Guadalupe River is right off Sisterdale Road and is only 5 minutes away.

We have a main house that we do not occupy full time, but we do like to come and stay frequently. We are available if needed but of course allow our guests to have plenty of privacy.

Please note that we have another rental on the property called The Oak Haus. We have taken great strides to ensure guests of each home have the privacy they need including window placements, privacy fencing, and locations of outside hangout spaces. There might be construction on the property however our land is large enough that this should have minimal impacts to our guests.

The basketball court is shared with us and any other guests.
