We had a wonderful stay! The house was VERY clean! Jason and Misty were easy to communicate with. We were so busy that the only photo I took in the house was of our soundly sleeping, exhausted children. We recommend visiting the quincy mine, exploring the many beautiful trails, yooperlite hunting, and copper hunting. We would definitely return and recommend!

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us! As we discussed, we assumed the photos made it clear that this is a two-story home, but we understand that detail can be easy to miss. The bedrooms are upstairs, and unfortunately, an elevator hasn’t made it into our renovation budget yet! Our listing does note the steps, and we encourage older guests or anyone with mobility concerns to consider the layout before booking. We’re always happy to answer questions to help guests decide whether the home is a comfortable fit.

Quiet. Private. As described, only better overall. The stairs are steep, best going up on all 4's up so you don't bonk your head, but very doable. More lamps than the pictures showed, which we appreciated. Kitchen is very nice. The little steps (1.5") from room to room tripped me up the most and stubbed my toes more than once.

Great location. We were able to connect with trails with our side-by-side straight from the rental. Ample parking for our trailer. Clean and stocked. Like noted in other reviews. there are a couple tripping hazards at room transitions, but figured it out quickly. Also as noted, you have to duck when going up/down the stairs, which are narrow and steep. I taped a streamer up to check myself as you could easily hit your head. You do need to be mindful and be fully awake before heading down the stairs. Description provided is accurate, and hosts were very responsive. Overall, a good, comfortable stay.

The house was very clean and perfect for our small group. We were definitely impressed that there were window ac units for our use as well as air purifiers. The house is a steal for the price we paid and hosts were quick to respond. I definitely recommend staying here.

Great location at the base of the Bumble town hill, Calumet waterworks, and your on the way out to Eagle river and Copper Harbor. Great communication from the hosts, Clean house with a nice view of the surrounding woods.The only thing to consider is if you're over 6 foot, the climb upstairs is a bit tight. Otherwise a great stay

Great place to stay. Very clean, the owners were easy to communicate with if needed, and the bed in the master was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was newly remodeled. I would definitely stay here again!

Extremely clean, quiet and functional property! We would recommend some bedside lamps, a living room lamp for reading, more microwave safe dishes (ceramic or glass) such as bowls.

The home had everything we neeeded to stay 4 nights, even had enough driveway room for a truck and 4 place snowmobile trailer. Perfectly located to ride right to trail 3 and get anywhere we wanted on the sleds. Definitely worth it.

We enjoyed our quick trip to the Keweenaw to move our sons into Tech. Such a fun place to stay. Loved the charm and character. Would definitely stay again. This is the perfect home base for easily exploring all of the Keweenaw.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Hosts were responsive and helpful, the house was exactly as pictured, we truly have no complaints! We stayed for a snowmobile trip and the trails were close by as well as a gas station and a couple spots to eat.

This was such a great central location for our visit to the Keweenaw! Everything was as expected and the hosts were quick to respond whenever I contacted them with a question. Nice sized yard for my pups!
