The Space
Welcome to The Family Retreat, nestled in Escondido's desirable neighborhood! Our tranquil haven boasts a spectacular backyard resort, a hidden gem perfect for hosting unforgettable gatherings with friends and family. As you step into our oasis, you'll feel the warmth and charm that has made this space a cherished sanctuary for countless joyful moments.

Please note, to honor the peaceful atmosphere of our family-friendly community, we kindly ask for a maximum of 12 adults on the premises. Respectfully observing quiet hours after 9pm ensures that everyone can unwind and enjoy a serene evening, with all guests indoors by 10pm.

Also note we have a pool fence around the pool for safety of the little ones.

Bedroom #4: 1 King bed with twin daybed, twin trundle, Crib, with TV.

Bedroom #5: 2 full-size beds, No TV.

Bedroom #6: 2 queen size beds, with TV.

Bedroom #7: 1 king-size bed, with TV.

Bathroom #1: Jack & Jill full bathroom Located downstairs between bedroom 2 & 3.

Bathroom #2: (Downstairs) Full bathroom located off of the living room close to the garage.

Bathroom #3: (Upstairs) Full bathroom attached to the Master bedroom.

Bathroom #4: (Upstairs) Full bathroom located in the hallway.

Bask in the warm glow of the Southern California sun as you lounge by the pool or indulge in a soothing soak in the bubbling hot tub. Test your skills on the putting green or engage in a lively game of cornhole, laughter filling the air as memories are made beneath the starlit sky.

Extra Amenities: Throughout the house and living areas, you'll find smart TVs ready to entertain, offering the flexibility to log into your own Netflix or other smart TV accounts and enjoy your favorite shows and movies. Additionally, we provide a Peloton bike for your fitness needs, though you'll need to sign into your account to use it.

The fireplace is non operational. No parking in garage also. We do limit to 4 cars. we can make an exception for 5 cars but need to know in advance.

Disclaimer: By accepting this reservation, you are holding the owner harmless from any accidents or injury on the property, or any accidents or injury from hot tub/pool/fire pit.

No children are to be left unattended in or by the pool or Hot tub at all times.

This is a residential neighborhood and we expect our guests to respect their surroundings.

Please be advised that the quiet ordinance in this area is from 9pm-8am. No one can be outside after 10pm.

Again, this is a family friendly neighborhood and we have to respect those around us day or night. This is a very important to us.

No music is allowed outside at anytime.

Colored lights off by 11 pm.

We are a smoke free home, this also includes the backyard. This includes vaping and marijuana.

We do not allow ANY parties at any time.

Guests listed in the booking are the only guests permitted on the property at all times. NO additional guests permitted. There will be a $250 fine per guest per day that is unaccounted for.

We do not allow any pets in the home due to severe allergies, this also includes any service or emotional support animals. Due to severe allergies we are unable to accommodate.

Green bins are only for landscaping. There is a $500 fine for throwing trash in the green bins or recycling bins.

Please DO NOT open garage doors.

Must be 25+ to book.

Pinball machine is older. Please be gentle. We can't always guarantee that it will be working. please don't book the home just based off pinball machine.



POOL/SPA
It is optional to heat the pool.
If you want the pool heated, we have a 3-day minimum.

There is an additional fee to heat the pool.
Prices vary depending on the time of year.
Oct-Feb: $150 per day /3 consecutive day minimum.
March-May: $125 per day /3 consecutive day minimum.
June and Sept: $100 per day /3 consecutive day minimum.
July and Aug: $75 per day/3 consecutive day minimum.
(you most likely won't need the pool heated in July and August. The pool temperature is warm and usually in the low to mid 80's).

Please Note:
We don't heat the pool past 85 degrees.
Pool temp can vary depending on weather conditions.
We can make an exception however it does cost more.

Tampering with the pool heat or accidentally turning it on will have a $150 per day fee.

PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE POOL EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE.
It will disable the system causing nothing to work.

Please note: It is common to see debris at times in the pool.
The pool vacuum will grab it or you can use the skimmer if you want to manually do it.

You cannot heat the pool and the spa at the same time.
We first heat the pool to temp then you can turn on/off the spa when needed.

Hot tub is available for guests at no additional charge. Hot tub heater must be turned off after each use and overnight.
PLEASE NOTE: No jumping off of the hot tub.

Pool Vacuum
Do not take the pool vacuum out of the pool (That includes part of the hose or the whole thing). Doing so will damage the pool equipment!!
If it happens, we may not be able to fix during your stay. If the pool vacuum gets disconnected, please submerge under water to get out the air bubbles before you reconnect.
