The home is very well maintained, tucked away in a beautiful location. It has all the needed amenities & more. Alexus was so helpful even answering several questions before I rented the home. Cellular signal was nonexistent with Verizon, but the wifi worked extremely well.*The listing was upfront and recommended having 4-wheel drive to access the home, and unfortunately for me, the off-road on my small suv wasn’t up to the task. I definitely over estimated my vehicle, and under estimated the incline, so I only stayed one of the five scheduled nights. Alexus was understanding & offered to refund should the home have been re-rented. .

The property is incredible! It is clean and smells brand new when you first walk in the door. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom has a great rainfall shower head and lots of room. The covered porch has a nice sectional couch with gas fire pit as well as a table for meals. The property is very quiet with no road noise.

Great property ! All furniture, appliances, utensils etc. are top notch ! Don’t worry about the size of the cabin. It feels much larger than actually is. Awesome host ! Great communication! If you go in the summer, the panoramic view from the porch is somewhat limited due to plants/trees but still great ! You DEFINITELY need a AWD car to go all the way up ro the cabin. There is a parking spot at the bottom of the hill in case you have 2WD.

Sylva rental

The house is adorable and felt like new but I would caution on the gravel road and location of the property. It took us about 15-20 minutes off the main road and while half of the road is paved, the gravel part had several pot holes and one switchback that required two turns to make. Cell coverage on Verizon and AT&T were limited and could not make calls.
